Americans See Democratic Party as “Too Liberal”

That's Gallup poll director Frank Newport in the video:

It turns out that the public sees the Dems as more liberal than they see the GOP as conservative, "More Americans See Democratic Party as “Too Liberal”":

The Democratic Party continues to hold the upper hand over the Republican Party in the current U.S. political environment by a variety of measures, including party identification and party favorable ratings. However, compared to last year, Americans are significantly more likely to see the Democratic Party as too liberal, and as a result, they are somewhat more likely to view the party as being too far left than to perceive the Republican Party as too far right. That may expose a bit of a vulnerability for the Democratic Party, and if perceptions of the Democratic Party as being too liberal continue to grow, the GOP may be able to win back some of the support it has lost in recent years. But that may be possible only if the Republicans are at the same time able to convince the public that they are not too far to the political right.
Oh, and remember: We're the right-wing "extremists."

Donald, nice tag line, but perhaps you should look up the word "extremists."

These are people who speak with their guns, not their parades. Let's find a common thread, shall we, of just about every single hate crime committed in this country or the next.

Yes, they are all "right-wing extremists." That's just a fact, sir. Shall we make a list? Didn't think so.

Better late than never.

Then again, perhaps not.

Tim,

Should present trends continue unaltered, there is going to very soon come a time when mere "parades," along with efforts at the ballot box, will become wholly inadequate in the course of preserving "true" freedom, a concept that is well beyond the intellectual grasp of most leftists.

Something tells me that, in the very near future, those who support the imposition of the Imperial Federal Nanny State are going to come to realize a most unpleasant reality.

While you may welcome the government sticking its nose in places it doesn't belong, many millions of Americans are not going to be so accommodating.

Count on it.

And if you think those of us who still support the this country's founding document, which is the Constitution of the United States, are "extremists," then so were the founders of this nation.

You don't need a gun to perpetrate a "hate" crime, Tim.

How about THIS list ...

... Earth First! spiking trees, leaving them for the chainsaw of an unwary lumberjack to catch them and possibly kill him.

... ALF protesters breaking into and vandalizing research labs, possibly compromising life-saving work in the name of animal "rights".

... Violent Black Blocs who seem to be welcome at any Leftist-led protest.

... and the cherry on the top of the sundae: violent, Leftist-driven social movements (from the Black Panthers to the Symbionese Liberation Army) and anti-war "protests" of the Vietnam era -- in particular, the plans and actions of the Weather Underground, whose unrepentant William Ayers is now far closer to the halls of power than any right-wing extremist has EVER been.

And that's the HARD tyranny, Tim ...

... as opposed to the soft tyranny of the government usurping decision after decision from us "for our own good", while sucking
up the resources that empower us to make our own decisions at an ever-increasing rate ...

... while refusing to engage in the effective defense of life and liberty, treating the enemies of life and liberty with greater respect than those who value those attributes.
