As far as the Video...a perfect example of the "Dumbing Down" of America...taking one look at these corrupt fools tells it all.
Yes Donald, these two idiotic employees are somehow ACORN "officials" which represent what ACORN does. But I suppose if they had been correctly labeled as "ACORN employees" it would have greatly lessened the effect. I find it funny when businesses like Walmart refer to their employees as "associates," but now I see that they're all Walmart Officials.
For as mildly funny as this prank was, I fail to understand how this has any greater implication on anything. Particularly as I'm quite positive that there are real pimps who receive similar advice from tax experts and they don't work for ACORN. But please, don't let that prevent you from imagining that ACORN is an evil bogeyman who is somehow causing all the bad things that are happening in your life. Oooh, scary!
Frankly, I think the thing that made these women look the dumbest was simply that they actually believed that those two people were really a pimp and prostitute, when they both looked like they were in Halloween costumes. And that lady's tax advice was HORRIBLE and would have greatly increased their chances of being audited. And that's not to mention her inability to understand that "eight grand" meant eight thousand dollars, or how she struggled to do basic multiplication. But I suppose that's why she works for ACORN, rather than a CPA firm.

I couldn't get the video to run properly but know about this because I've read several articles about it. It is indeed important and once again ACORN proves how utterly corrupt they are. Considering who they are, even this isn't surprising.
RaDena - As someone who has seen the video yet apparently doesn't have a brain, perhaps you could help me out by explaining why it's important that two low-level ACORN employees are fiendishly stupid.
Are we seriously to imagine that ACORN officially tells these dopes to help criminals pay their taxes while lying to the IRS in ways that will greatly increase the chance of them getting audited? That makes absolutely zero sense. Hell, that dumb lady's advice would actually have INCREASED their chances of getting busted, as they would have been better off filing no return at all.
The real crime that lady committed is the one she perpetrates against the people she helps file real tax returns. I wouldn't let that bozo file my nails, let alone a tax return.
Dr. Biobrain, I think you've hit on the conservative mentality very nicely: if anyone on the left does something bad, it means all leftists have to answer for it. If a few soldiers torture people, well, that's just bad apples.

If the perps are fellow republicans or involved with causes or activities supported by the right, they are individual bad apples, in a barrel full of ripe and tasty red ones.
If the perps are liberals or associated with activities and causes cons do not support, then everyone who ever stood next to 'em in line at the grocery store is equally guilty of the sins or crimes of which they're accused.
That's why the soldiers & contractors who mistreated folks in Iraq and the elected "family values" republican reps who screw around behind their spouses' backs with interns, pages, hookers, or Argentinian tail on the Appalachian trail are individual actors who don't speak to the morals of warriors and those in the "republic party" as a whole, whereas these two individual employees at ACORN, or the pro-healthcare reform guy who bites somebody's finger at a protest means that every person who ever stepped foot in an ACORN office or supports healthcare reforms is a corrupt finger-biter.
Blaming every liberal for the bad acts of any liberal --and not being intellectually honest enough to do the same when judging themselves, of course--is the only way cons like Don can maintain his web'o'deceit.
Contrary to these con claims (and yeah, just like everything else, some on the left play this silly game, as well), people on the left and on the right are individuals, not groups, and when one of 'em commits a bad act, the blame lies with them as individuals, not with the groups to which they belong.
