The commercial is way over the top.
What liberals need to understand is that demand for services leads to increased costs. Medicare is creating huge demand for health care services. By handing over the program to the private market, the market will sort out who can afford care and who cannot, and we, as a nation, will stop providing services beyond the most basic to those who cannot afford their own policies. Of course this means that a lot of people will be unable to secure health care, and of course this means that millions of people will die decades earlier than they would in the nanny state or under Obamacare. But hey, you either believe in the market or you don't. And liberals don't.
