And what's the response among Democratic leftists and the mass media? Dig in further in demonizing concerned citizens as "Functionally Retarded Adults" and "hypocritical nihilists." Janeane Garofalo's at it again, for example. She attacked the "teabaggers" once more in a performance at D.C.'s 9:30 Club on Friday night:
Do you remember tea baggers?" Garofalo said. "It was just so much easier when we could just call them racists. I just don't know why we can't call them racists, or functionally retarded adults" ...Also, Kevin Drum attacked town hall protesters as "nihilists and hypocrities":
"The functionally retarded adults, the racists - with their cries of, ‘I want my country back,'" she said. "You know what they're really saying is, ‘I want my white guy back.' They apparently had no problem at all for the last eight years of habeas corpus being suspended, the Constitution being [expletive] on, illegal surveillance, lied to on a war or two, two stolen elections - yes, the John Kerry one was stolen too. That's not tin-foil hat time. That's just..."
Both parties have their extreme wings, but the GOP's is not only way deeper into crazy land ("death panels" for them vs a public option for the most liberal Dems), but it's virtually all they have left. Michele Bachman is pretty much the modal Republican now, not just a fringe nutball. Conversely, Dennis Kucinich, who's far to the left but perfectly sane and coherent, barely gets the time of day from the mainstream core of the Democratic Party.Right.
I don't actually mind if most or all Republicans vote against healthcare reform. They're Republicans! They're opposed to expanded government programs and private sector regulation and new entitlements. But the death panels and the home nursing inanity and the "healthcare racism" and the town hall screeching and all the rest are the mark of a party that's gone completely off the rails. They're doomed until they figure out a way to extricate themselves from the Beck/Limbaugh/Fox News axis of hysteria.
Drum really ought to check public opinion polls once in a while. Currenty, just one fourth of the American public "strongly approves" of President Obama, and a majority of 51 percent disapproves of the president's performance:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday [August 23, 2009] shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14. These figures mark the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President. Then we have the mainstream press, which is totally in the tank for socialized medicine. The Los Angeles Times has practically become a PR firm for ObamaCare. And yesterday's fawning story of radical Congresswoman Maxine Waters was over the top. And just this morning, the San Jose Mercury News pumps up the "angry white nihilist" line. See, "White Anger Fueling Health Care Debate":
Ex-Marine Jack Burke went toe-to-toe with his congresswoman at a street fair in San Carlos last week, convinced President Barack Obama's health care reform would mean politicians, not doctors, would make his medical decisions. So I guess that's a nice way for the paper to say town hall protesters "just want their white guy back."
It wasn't just health care making him angry, Burke said a few moments later. It was Obama's plan to limit global warming; it was the auto industry and all the other bailouts; AND it was health care. The retiree said it all felt so wrong, so contrary to how he was raised.
"I just feel the government is intruding in our lives," Burke said.
With the civic dialogue aflame with phrases like "death panels" and "the blood of tyrants," conversations with voters like Burke suggest more is brewing in the nation's troubled soul than a debate over the mechanics of health care reform. Many say the tempest over health care has its origin in the new administration's breathtaking pace of change and in the long-term social and demographic trends that helped put the nation's first African-American president in the White House.
But there is also a powerful social catalyst: The recession has savaged whites and middle-aged men to a degree unseen in most people's lifetimes. And that has helped make many in those groups desperately, angrily anxious about change.
In any case, you've got to love Larry the Homeless Guy up top, protesting yesterday at Senator Lisa Murkowski's office in Anchorage. The picture's from Liberty Belle's report:
It was a very calm group with few outbursts. Lucky me, I got to sit right in front of the most rude people there. Big surprise: lefties. When someone mentioned the drift towards socialism this country is experiencing, they booed loudly and yelled unintelligible things. When another woman expressed her concern about the illegal immigration problem, the woman behind me screamed, "RACIST!!" At first I thought she was joking, but no, she was dead serious.Democrats have now invented the "Obama racism corollary" to Godwin's Law (to paraphrase the Economist, leftists have already lost the debate if they're reduced to attacking town hall citizens as "racist").
See also, the Juneau Empire, "More Than 700 Attend Murkowski Town Hall."
Libtards: dopes, retards, losers, unkempt hoards and punks. Every one of them.
ReplyDeleteI think these loons on the left are as reponsible for Obama's tanking in the polls as he is himself. Guilt by association.
ReplyDeleteWe the Silent Majority are silent no more, and there's no shutting us up now.
As our friends in the U.K. would say, I am about three meters beyond the end of my tether with these freedom-hating loons.
ReplyDeleteNow we know just how intellectually bankrupt the societal-leech class has truly become.
I don't give a damn if Barack Hussein Obama is purple with pink polka dots and yellow hair, or if he is as white as a sheet with blonde hair and blue eyes, he is at the end of the day, like all freedom-hating lefties, red on the inside, and is trying to deprive me and my fellow Americans of our freedoms and liberties.
These maggot-infested thieves (and that is exactly what they are) can call me anything they wish, but if they think that their mindless accusations are going to intimidate me into shying away from trying to prevent a total government takeover of our nation's health care system, they are in for a very unpleasant surprise.
-Dave
I just love when the left demonstrates it lack of intellectual skill and its ability to alienate larger and larger groups of people. Soon they will be down to the actual twenty percent of the population they are without anyone to even feel sorry for them.
ReplyDeleteEach time they resort to name calling the less value the name calling has and the more they hurt themselves.
I am just waiting for them to call a private citizen who is expressing his/hers first amendment right a racists and that person asks for their name so that their lawyer can take them to court for libel.
Bring those camcorders.
How dare Garofalo use intellectually lazy terms like "Functionally Retarded Adults" and "hypocritical nihilists" to describe her fellow Americans with whom she disagrees. If she'd just called them "libtards", "dopes", "retards", "losers", "unkempt(?) hoards", "punks", "Reptilians(?!?)", "loons", "freedom-hating loons", "the societal-leech class" and "maggot-infested thieves" like the obvious geniuses who frequent this site she'd sound a lot more patriotic.
ReplyDeletePhilippe: Really? I mean, you're pretty much the nicest guy commenting on this site so I hate to say this but you're now officially nuttier than squirrel turds my friend. Sweden must be a very interesting place to live.
Peg: "We the Silent Majority are silent no more, and there's no shutting us up now."
I've seen plenty of footage from your town hall "protests", there's obviously no shutting you up (although yelling at and over your elected officials in lieu of discussion seems to be OK with you).
And it's funny: I don't remember hearing much from your "Silent Majority" about the encroachment of government into people's private lives or out of control spending for a stretch of about eight years, right around the 2001-2009 area.
But you're all obviously principled patriots and not just angry partisan hacks, so I'm sure it's just a coincidence that you've only chosen to speak out against these outrages over the last seven months. Still kind of funny timing though, huh?
And I completely agree with you, Don: There's nothing more pathetic than a perpetual victim crying racism when they feel like they're losing an argument. Sad.
'And it's funny: I don't remember hearing much from your "Silent Majority" about the encroachment of government into people's private lives or out of control spending for a stretch of about eight years, right around the 2001-2009 area.'
ReplyDeleteOh, Brother, JBW! And you think of yourself as an intellectual!
Any idiot should realize that absolutely nothing was as extreme then, as it is now!
I remember lots of screaming from the radical left, not to mention some of the filthiest, and most hateful comments imaginable, directed at Bush, his family, and the entire administration. I think they were called everything but human beings.
Just because certain citizens of this country are exercising their free speech, in expressing their dissatisfaction about something vital to their wellbeing, do you, also, believe that they're nothing more than angry, white racists?
Do you believe that because they are doing this, they are not principled patriots and are nothing more than angry partisan hacks?
No, of course, you don't, but don't bother replying--I'm not a debater, and I've said all I had to say.
"Do you believe that because they are doing this, they are not principled patriots and are nothing more than angry partisan hacks?"
ReplyDeleteYes Possofare, that's exactly what I believe about anyone who didn't say shit while the Bush administration ran roughshod over civil liberties and human rights yet now compares Obama to Hitler and the Nazis. I'm all for exercising one's free speech rights but when you do it hypocritically I'm going to call you a hypocrite.
And did I ever say that they shouldn't be free to say whatever they want about Obama? Or that anyone was a racist? In fact, I talked shit to Don for playing the race card like a petty victim at the end of our last back and forth.
And if the best argument you have is spouting absolutist garbage like "Any idiot should realize that absolutely nothing was as extreme then, as it is now!" I can see why you don't consider yourself a debater. With that level of intellect I wouldn't want to debate me either.
Wow, you whackos really are whackos! But seriously, the right wing is usually nuts, and when it isn't certifiably crazy, it is just bitter and atavistic and incredibly selfish. I don't know what the right will achieve with this nonsense, maybe they will derail any meaningful progressive legislation, but what's for certain is that the right's delusional view of themselves and their cause is impossible to reason with. Thanks for crapping all over my country, maniacs.
ReplyDeleteI complained loudly about the patriot act and was very openly against the war in Iraq. Not the helping part but the staying around was stupid. The amount of money we have sunk into keeping troops there and supporting a government that won't ;ast the minute we leave is stupid. We could have left and then go back in 10 years and saved ourselves billions. Not to mention the Iraqi will not care about their government until they do it themselves anyway.
ReplyDeleteYet I am done with the racist left. In 50 years they have not nominated ONE white Christian for anthing. For the last 50 years every law or legislation passed has been for the benefit of someone other than a white male. I am done being passed over for jobs cause they need a woman or a minority. I am done not being able to get into the good schools for the same reasons or not being able to get a decent government job because minorities and women get more points just for being born. Finished with the special treatment of everyone but my race and gender, finished with the double standards... Finished.
If this makes me a racist than so be it. Calling me one means nothing to me anymore and I don't think I am alone in that mind set.
BeltainAmerica: Kennedy, Johnson, Humphrey, McGovern, Carter, Mondale, Clinton, Gore and Kerry; I left out Dukakis because he's Greek and Obama because he's only half white. And those are just the presidential candidates.
ReplyDeleteBeing against affirmative action doesn't make you a racist (I'm against it myself) but saying that the left doesn't nominate white Christians for anything does reveal a level of electoral ignorance.
I'm not even going to go into the irony of stating that calling someone a racist means nothing after you did just that in the previous paragraph...
Those were elected, although I guess you could say they were nominated in the primary. By nominated I refer mostly to judges and primarily SCOTUS. I am sure there has been a few lower nominations from Dems that were white and male but damned few and damned few to other nominated positions as well. So damned few as to not be anywhere near the lefts precious equal numbers of affirmative action. But of course it only counts as equal if it is against whites, same as hate crimes don;t count if a white person is the victim.
ReplyDeleteAs for racist I said it doesn't effect me if someone calls me a racist, because I know I am not I believe EVERONE should be equal. My choices have proven I am not racist when dealing with others. The progressive left on the other hand have proven they are racist against whites, usually gender biased and certainly bigoted towards Christians.
So my post still stands.
BeltainAmerica: Every person the left has run for president in the last fifty years aside from Dukakis and Obama (still half) has been white. Every single one of them have been male and every single one of them have been Christians. And during the hundred and seventy years before that? That's right: white Christian males all.
ReplyDeleteAs I said, I agree with you on affirmative action as well as the Iraq war, the Patriot Act and hate crime laws but when the vast majority of Democratic presidents, vice-presidents, senators, representative, governors, state senators, attorney generals, mayors, city council members and district attorneys over the last fifty years have been white male Christians (and they have been) your claim that "The progressive left...have proven they are racist against whites, usually gender biased and certainly bigoted towards Christians" most certainly does not still stand because it's just plain wrong.
In that we must then agree to dis-agree JBW. Who ran for office is nothing more than who they thought would get the most bi-partizan or independant vote. In the end of course those that convince the most people to vote for them win. Not so with these nominations to the point that leftist progressives will only nominate along racial or gender (or both lines). That is racism in its most basic form.
ReplyDeleteBeltainAmerica: It's true that "Who ran for office is nothing more than who they thought would get the most bi-partizan or independant vote" but the fact that the progressive left ran them and backed them undermines your main point.
ReplyDeleteIf the left in this country was really "racist against whites, usually gender biased and certainly bigoted towards Christians" then why would they have worked so hard to get people they supposedly hate so much elected? KKK members wouldn't run a black guy even if they thought he would win because they hate black guys too much to allow one to get elected.
As I've said, I can point to tens of thousands of white male Christians who have been made the leaders of the Democratic party while you are merely stating your opinions as to the political left's motivations and beliefs.
If you can point to any studies or statistics that back up your claims of bigotry towards white male Christians within the nomination process in lieu of vague accusations of such I'd be happy to hear you out but until that time I'm afraid that I can't agree to disagree with you because your argument seems to be based more on emotional opinion than verifiable fact.
This applies to your "Reptilians" as well, Philippe. I'd posit that I don't understand what you're talking about because, despite your claims to the contrary, what you're talking about isn't real.
Now I don't doubt that you believe that they're real but as with so many things merely believing in something fantastical does very little to change reality.
Well I must say it's interesting to watch the lefties go nuts on this site. Here is the bottom line:
ReplyDeleteThe Democrats have the White House. They've got a 60 vote filibuster proof Senate, and 276 - 178 lead in the House. All pretty overwhelming
Yet according to them it's the fault of the right that they can't get Obamacare passed.
No, the problem is in your own party. Democrats have realized that Obama is not being truthful about his proposals, and the American people have figured that out.
Yeah Tom, I've obviously totally flipped out here. False hyperbole ill becomes you, my friend. And while I assume that you're referring to the Democrats they sure as hell aren't my party.
ReplyDeleteObama's main problems with his health care legislation have come about because he abdicated too much responsibility to spineless pussies in congress and wasted too much time trying to woo obstructionist Republicans who put politics before the needs of the American people.
Yes, the fear mongering from the right has gotten a lot of people scared but rational people still overwhelmingly support health care reform. Obama just needs to take the reins and get this done. I'm sure he would have liked to have had a civil and honest debate but the right made sure that never happened and now the time for it has long passed.
When you see the Left in high dungeon, as with comments by our wayward friends, you know they are losing big time. I especially love the name calling. It is just so demonstrative of a well reasoned argument, NOT.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work Leftists because the more people you alienate the worse it is for you. How is that name calling working out?
Pretty soon, if not already, you will have cried wolf so much that nothing you say will have value. Ah well, what else can you expect from the hate brigade? Oh, I am sorry I should have said "Our betters," for only you know what is good for us from healthcare, to food, housing, cars, et al.
It does make one wonder how people who mostly do not believe in GOD, oh horrors he wrote the word GOD and should be eliminated, spend so much time trying to act the part of GOD. So all seeing, et al.
The left is trying what the Bolsheviks did so many years ago. The Communist party split in Russia (before the revolution). The Bolsheviks named themselves Bolsheviks which means the majority when in reality they were the minority.
ReplyDeleteI don't see how you can compare the fact that leftist will vote for a candidate they know they can influence AND will get white votes, to them not being racist as a whole themselves JDW.
ReplyDeleteIndividually I am sure a number of them do not realize it but taken as a whole they move in racist, gender biased and bigoted directions without so much as lip service to the very equality they claim to cherish.
You are comparing apples to oranges and using the views and motives of more moderate democrats to camoflage the radical and racist influence of the progressive special interest side. Somewhat like what Obama did in his campaign actually.
How you can also say you do not support affirmative action, hate crimes etc and still support a party that hands these groups this legislation whenever they rattle their ballot box threats confuses me. Whatever front men they vote for in the more public aware areas does not completely hide the racism. I am sure they know that most of America has no clue and pays no attention to who is nominated to this post or that, but times are changing and after this last wise latina it is going to be much harder for the racist left to push through their racist centered agendas.
ALSO JDW your comment on the KKK not running a blackman is not completely accurate at least by progressive standards as they point at conservative black men calling them names such as uncle and house boy metaphores.
ReplyDeleteI will submit that a radical white racial group would do the same thing the racist progressives do if they were a true minority or in an area they were a minority in. That is you push the candidate you can control if there is no other alternative. I don't know of a white racial group which does this currently but I think its obvious the progressive left does this all the time.
"But we should give all Reptilian humanoids a chance..."
ReplyDeleteWasn't it John Lennon who said this first? I guess he'd know, being bigger than Jesus and all.
OK Philippe, I've decided to believe you. I've placed a large flat rock in a sunny spot in my backyard with a net over it. As soon as I capture one of your Satan-spawned, politician-birthing Reptilians I'm calling National Geographic and splitting the credit with you. Deal?
BeltainAmerica: You seem like a decent (if perhaps slightly deluded) fellow so I'm trying to be as polite as I can here but you just seem to be all over the place and frankly many of the things you're now saying are not very coherent or making much sense.
ReplyDeleteYour most consistent argument seems to consist of merely repeating the words "leftists" and "racist" as many times as possible. You're using absolutist language like "only" and "always", that you "know" this or that has been "proven" but this is still all only you repeating your opinions.
I've asked you more than once for specific examples of the left's racism, of their discrimination against males and Christians to counter the easily verifiable fact that the majority of Democratic politicians and even judges over the last fifty years have been white Christian males.
Talk of special interest cabals and public front men is not enough. I realize that you may not have the time to do this yourself but there are scores of right-wing websites out there that do nothing but push this meme of yours, surely you can point to some type of documented proof that "In 50 years they have not nominated ONE white Christian for anthing".
I'm sorry of you're having trouble understanding why I believe the things I do but as I said, I think you might be a bit confused here.
I know in 50 years (OK 47 really)not one supreme court justice has been nominated by the dems who was white, male and Christian. Not a one.
ReplyDeleteIf you can find one please let me know.
Like I said I am sure there is at least one for a lesser court but I am nto going to go looking because it does not matter the fact that not a one was nominated or even for that matter supported for SCOTUS by the DEMS says it all.
You can try throwing out politicians who make their own choices to run or not as proof but it proves nothing as it is not the same thing.
I don't see how you can find this confusing nor have I ever veered off topic.
/shrug
BeltainAmerica: You're seriously pointing to six people over half a century, ignoring the thousands and thousands of judges in US district courts, the US circuit courts of appeals, magistrate courts, bankruptcy courts, the US court of military appeals, the US tax court and the US court of veteran's appeals (all of which are appointed by the president) and claiming that this "says it all" as far as your specious claims of "leftist racism"?
ReplyDeleteYou know how I know that the Republican party hates Samoan lesbian atheists? They've never nominated or even supported one for membership on the Supreme Court; obviously airtight logic. Sounds kind of foolish when I say it like that, huh?
If you want to claim that using this extraordinarily narrow metric is unequivocal "proof" of your blanket claims about institutional racism and bigotry on the left while also ignoring mountains of verifiable and empirical data to the contrary then be my guest but I have to tell you that you aren't going to win any kind of rational debate using these types of tactics.
Well Sir if Samoan Lesbians (Of any religion) made up over 50% of the population and got zero nominations for 47 years for SCOTUS from republicans coupled with affirmative action legislation that helped everyone BUT Samoan lesbians not to mention hate crime legislation that encompassed every race or gender but Samoan women.
ReplyDeleteThen I would agree with you and be totally against the bigotry shown towards Samoan Lesbians.
I mean seriously Sir, the comment was made for this last SC nomination that it had to be a woman and a minority. That is racist and gender biased. If a republican had said it had to be a white man they would have been all over him or her for it.
I wish you could see the double standards of the racism card the leftist, progressive, liberal (pick a title) play. You seem very intelligent but just don't want to see it.
Lastly as to gender bias this recession has hit men harder than women. Over 85% of those who lost their jobs are men. Yet NoW and other women's groups lobbied the "Honorary Feminist" Obama to spend over 45% of his stimulus package on traditional female dominated industries and institutions.
Maybe the President doesn't go to bed every night thinking he hates other men (I am sure NoW does however). Yet both the leftist progressive President and the leftist feminist groups didn't think twice to hurt men even more.
If thats not gender bias in the face of economic upheaval then I don't know what is. It all fits the same mold progressive, leftist, liberal does nothing for a white male except take more away and it is time to start screaming for our equality.
BeltainAmerica: As I've said, I disagree with affirmative action and hate crime legislation but to pretend that the playing field in America is equal for every race, gender and religion is naive at best and dishonest at worst. Yes, we've gotten rid of the two different water fountains and elected a (half) black man as president but neither of those things made racism and inequality magically dry up overnight.
ReplyDeleteIt does indeed seem that the gender and race of this last justice was a consideration but don't tell me that when Reagan and Bush I nominated O'Conner and Thomas that her gender and his race were not considerations either. Choosing supreme court nominees is as political as everything else in government, for both major parties. Now can you or I define exactly how much of a consideration they were for those presidents (or for Obama, for that matter)? No, absent the ability to see into their hearts and/or read their minds we can not.
I realize that white people make up 50% of the US population as do males; by contrast, Hispanics make up 15% while females are also 50%. Supreme court justices so far who have been white: 97%. Male: 97%. Hispanic:<1%. Female: 3%. I'm not going to go into their religions because anyone who wasn't Christian (and the vast majority have been) was at least Jewish, and I catagorize all of your religions in the same way but since I mentioned it: Atheists are 16% of the population yet we've never had a supreme court justice, ever.
And to address your riposte to my Samoan lesbian analogy: If Samoan lesbians had been the dominant race and gender in this country for hundreds of years (and around the world for thousands), if they had owned people of other races and treated people of other genders as chattel for centuries, I don't think too many honest people would be feeling sorry for those poor, oppressed, fat lesbos right now.
Again, I'm against those types of legislation but don't even tell me (I assume by your stance that you yourself are white, male and Christian) that being so hasn't given you a leg up in this country. While not a Christian I however am white, male and six feet tall and I have no doubt that I would have had to work much harder if I'd gone through life thus far as a short black woman.
To quote the great Chris Rock: "There ain't a white man in this room that would change places with me! And I'm rich! That's how good it is to be white. There's a one-legged busboy in here right now saying, 'I don't want to change. I'm gonna ride this white thing out, see where it takes me.'"
My point here is that white people sound even more pathetic than whiny minorities when they complain about how hard they have it in this country. You can "start screaming for your equality" all you want and if you really believe that you're being persecuted while being amongst the dominant gender, the dominant race and the dominant religion in a country with a history of rewarding people just like you for being so then you're going to fit in just fine with Sarah Palin, Don Douglas and every other crybaby in the Republican party right now.
There's a reason Obama cut Jackson and Sharpton out of the loop when he ran for president: They're a couple of whining bitches who've played the race/victim card every chance they've gotten for decades now and America is sick of hearing it. So go ahead and play up your victim status whilst crying "Racism!" and "Discrimination!" as regards the political left in this country until you're blue in the face, my friend. You'll find yourself in good company.
I think a pretty good argument could be made that Obama Care..

You cannot go wrong on the best security systems
Well there is your problem JBW if you think just being white and male still gets a person more than someone who isn't then there is in fact no reasoning with you.
ReplyDeleteI have seen more white, male job applicants (myself included) and scholarship applicants (myself included) etc be passed over again and again for someone of the other gender or a different race with less experience or test scores that I see the double standards for what they are. Things are not equal at all and outside of the few elite havent been for years.
I could write a book listing all of them from a man trying to get a job in education to the governement and it won't make a difference to you.
As for a race owning another well any race you care to name owned slaves. Some far more recently than white Americans yet even you had to fall back on that old argument.
So keep screaming for your reparations as you sink in the Obamaboat and Pelosi uses your head to keep above water.
The time for special treatments and affirmative action and white men being the target of choice will come to an end.
BeltainAmerica: "Well there is your problem JBW if you think just being white and male still gets a person more than someone who isn't then there is in fact no reasoning with you."
ReplyDeleteActually, I'd say my problem is that I've spent the past 36 hours trying to have an intelligent discussion with someone who thinks he's getting a raw deal being a white male in this country. You saying you'd rather switch? Talk about no reasoning...
"As for a race owning another well any race you care to name owned slaves. Some far more recently than white Americans yet even you had to fall back on that old argument."
Let's see: We're discussing race in America, so I referenced America's history of RACIAL SLAVERY. I "fell back" on that because this is the same damn country. You wanna discuss race relations in Cairo I'm gonna bring up ancient Egypt, then you can tell me how that isn't relevant.
"So keep screaming for your reparations as you sink in the Obamaboat and Pelosi uses your head to keep above water."
First of all, I'll thank you to develop your own writing style rather than just copying mine. Second, when did I mention reparations? Just like when others on the right can't discuss health care without saying "death panels" or talk radio without saying "fairness doctrine", you've got your scary, go-to straw man bogey-word to throw out there. Solving racial inequality = reparations. Simple math, huh? See, you're sounding more like a Jackson/Sharpton victim all the time...
"The time for special treatments and affirmative action and white men being the target of choice will come to an end."
Ominous words. Let me guess: You're a Glenn Beck fan and you own a gun. How's my aim? You sound like a fairly bitter individual, BeltainAmerica. I hope nobody gets hurt as a result. Think calm thoughts. Adieu.
Tell me again about how you love free speech so much, Don. I'm sure it's fascinating...
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to make sense of the vetting process you're using to censor the comments on your site, Don. Perhaps you could provide an explanation as to why you've decided to withhold my past decidedly non-controversial and non-vulgar commentary on this thread...
ReplyDelete
