Does it Get Any Whiter Than This? MSNBC's Racial Hypocrisy

Michelle Malkin's got the best post up this morning, "The Indelible Whiteness of MSNBC" (via Memeorandum):
MSNBC host Chris Matthews, MSNBC reporter Norah O’Donnell, and MSNBC guest Joan Walsh shamelessly played the race card against Sarah Palin and her book-buying audience last week.

In Michigan, O’Donnell smugly noted that Palin’s fans were “largely white — almost no minorities in this crowd.” Matthews parroted the line, assailing the “white crowd.” Walsh likened the gathering to a “paranoid tea party.” Matthews hammered away at the “monochromatic” scene.

Ahem. Check out the masthead of MSNBC TV, “The Place for Politics.” Wear sunglasses and SPF 30 lotion. You’ll need protection from the blinding white glare:

Check the whole post. I love it!

And
Glenn Reynolds quips, "MINORITY WOMAN criticizes MSNBC’s “indelible whiteness.” Hey, it’s the Stuff White People Like network ....

That's me and Michelle last week. You can take your sunglasses off now.

UPDATE: A little hatred in the comments, from "Anonyomous" (of course), "howthe FUCK is that different from fox news are you fucking insane or just blind get a fucking clue."

ANSWER: A lot different, asshole. Fox News has not "shamelessly played the race card against Sarah Palin..."

Of course, Michelle Malkin's a Fox News contributor, so she alone adds more diversity, ideological especially. But f**kers like you don't give a s*** about that, you know?

  2. Typical from the left. Do as I say...not as I do. Great that you got to meet Michelle!

  3. Good to see you and Michelle counterbalancing the all-white uptight unwatched MSNBC thimblewits.

  4. Excellent photo Donald.

This is an insightful post on leftist hypocrisy !! Very enlightening, no pun intended. My recent attempts at scholarship is in reading the Pulitzer's for African-American Studies, such as the three volumes of W.E.B. Bois, by Lewis, Taylor Branch's three volumes on civil Rights, reading the Pulitzer Prize "The Problem of Slavery in the Western Culture, Davis, and am now on the 2009 award winning The Hemingses of Monticello, Gordon-Reed, and others, so this is very timely to me. Thank you for this post.

  5. "all-white uptight unwatched MSNBC"

    Love that, Dave.

Pretty funny that they got called on pulling the race card - it really makes them look like a bunch of idiots.

    Anonymous is getting flustered. Why???!

  7. Juan Williams, among others would be surprised to hear that FOX is all white in its coverage. I have to admit that I give little thought to ilk like this particular anonymous. Like a small number of your detractors he/she seems to lack the skill to defend their decisions. Name calling and the resort to curse words denote weak argumentation and an inability to think.
I do enjoy them though because they so ably represent everything about the Left.

  9. Ah the vocabulary of those on the Left. No wonder it posts as anonymous.

  10. Anonymous, obviously you're the stupid one here, since the hypocrisy isn't about black anchors, it's about allegations of racism, which only MSNBC is making. But you're too lame to figure that out, asshole.

  11. Is it possible to remove “Anonymous’ ” comments? They are past the threshold of reasonable civility.

  12. Incidentally, re-reading my first post: too preoccupied with my reading lately; Sorry about that, so, more to the point, you can’t play the race card on Palin when your staff is all white, and have any credibility. As for, Fox News, it isn’t alone in not representing the United Nations. Sure they have a penchant for pretty young blonds. Well, so do I. They may not be the most diverse (CNN might have that distinction), but their regular guests are all over the spectrum. One of my favorites is the informative debate that occurs between the liberal, fast mind and talker, Dr. Marc Lamont Hill and O’Reilly. That could be a model for blog debates that combine intelligence, diversity and civility.

  13. I usually delete anonymous comments, but once in a while they're good to show for how nihilistic are the lefties.
