As Dan notes, he's been a consistent critic of Tea Party Nation and its pay-to-play scheme for the convention. Personally, I have no qualms with the profit motive. It's just that Judson Phillips' organizing model seemed a bit more self-interested than I'd prefer, although by the looks of those who're heading to Nashville, such concerns have been subordinated in the larger grandeur of the moment.
