Commentary and analysis on American politics, culture, and national identity, U.S. foreign policy and international relations, and the state of education
- from a neoconservative perspective! - Keeping an eye on the communist-left so you don't have to!
Jake Tapper's post has a commenter that I rebuke thusly: "ibi is in the process of blowing this silly impostor of a community organizer & his bullhorn out of the water.
How strange is it when a silly moron like "Nathan" can say with a straight face: "As far as I am concerned Israel has no desire for peace. They weren't satisfied with the land they got, but started settling on occupied land. And that action in an ironic way, is following what Hitler did.
If the Jews say that Jerusalem is their homeland, what proof they have that it is not Palestinian's also. Rather than trying to live together, they want it all."
What a moronic comment after Israeli decamped unilaterally from Gaza in 2005, dragging their own settlers with them!!!
Does the preposterous fool Nathan notice that the terrrorist regime in Gaza that took over, the group of murderers called Hamas, have been shelling Israel from their newly acquired territories?
Almost every day?
You really have to wonder whether idiots like Nathan have their heads screwed on backwards or not."
I hope I wasn't too harsh with this insincere specimen of class dunce...!
I'm glad Netanyahu did this while the press were airing the meeting. Who knows if his comments, in full context, would have ever seen the light of day otherwise. Surely, the Obama slobbering slaves of our media would never have done Bibi justice.
I hate having to read the American news on the British and Israeli news sites, but more and more that is the case.
This meeting made me recall the summer of 2005 when PM Sharon ordered settlements dismantled, as "dave in boca" mentions. I, for one, believe it cost him his health and his life. And the Sheperdstown, WV talks in 2000, when Clinton met with PM Barak and Arafat. Later I watched an interview between Charlie Rose and Ehud Barak who said he felt stung that he had risked everything to negotiate with Arafat, gave him everything he asked for, only to have Arafat turn his back on the deal. That was the final indication, to me, that the Palestinians are not serious about peace, only the destruction of Israel.
I don't want Netanyahu to cater to anyone. I want him to do what he was elected to do, lead and protect Israel. I pray he will not falter under international condemnation. He will have to wait for America to recover our values and our integrity, if it's not already too late.
Your article by Caroline Glick, "Obama's Abandonment of America" is crucial reading for our citizens in light of Obama's "Arab Spring" speech. Thanks for posting it!
