I'm not married to the idea of Net Neutrality and I do agree with each of his points here, Don. Hell, I'd like to see the FCC completely abolished from the realms of radio and television in addition to the Internets but I suspect that you would not, and I would assume that this is one of the contradictions revealed whenever you take a Libertarian stance against anything.
From our past conversations I would assume that you are perfectly happy letting the FCC decide what is and is not acceptable to be broadcast in order to protect you and your children from seeing or hearing anything that might offend or corrupt you. "Community standards" and all of that. If I'm wrong on that count then kudos to you for your philosophical consistency but I know how much you enjoy your government protecting you from things that you don't like so I'm assuming that I'm not.
Right there with you on it, JBW. The funny part is that I'm assuming that if it were George Bush's FCC there wouldn't be a hue and cry on the right. Executive privilege or the war on terror or some such would excuse it.
