Whoever selected the music did an outstanding job. The tension created throughout, especially in the middle with its effective use of dead silence, catches the disaster that is Obama perfectly.
If one considers that words used properly, paints used correctly, et al then the use of sound and the lack thereof paints a musical picture worth far more than words could possibly say.
One of the hardest concepts one has is getting musicians to understand the importance of the rests and their interpretive value.
