Carlson and the Caller have performed a significant public service on the "Journolist" story.
That said, it's important to clairfy what is so offense about this. For me, no surprise that these people have leftist opinions, that they associate, coordinate strategy, adopt a common point of view, etc.
What is offensive and outrageous is the conceit that they peddle in public -- a misbogotten conceit of the profession, in fact, that major media outlets, and their personnel -- are "objective." Journalism as a profession needs to work through this question, and end this pointless and deceptive charade that reporters are "objective." The public would be better served by a more Euro like media that just accepted that the media was partisan up front.
