That said, it's important to clairfy what is so offense about this. For me, no surprise that these people have leftist opinions, that they associate, coordinate strategy, adopt a common point of view, etc.

What is offensive and outrageous is the conceit that they peddle in public -- a misbogotten conceit of the profession, in fact, that major media outlets, and their personnel -- are "objective." Journalism as a profession needs to work through this question, and end this pointless and deceptive charade that reporters are "objective." The public would be better served by a more Euro like media that just accepted that the media was partisan up front.; July 23, 2010 at 12:38 PM
