FWIT, LAT has a pretty interesting --- if largely uninformative --- piece today highlighting the relationship between Whitman and Carly Fiorina. See, "Insiders detail Fiorina, Whitman's fraught history."

Jerry Brown Fail — Or Whitman?
I just caught this on TV for the first time this morning. I love the approach, although I'm not sure I'll even vote for RINO Whitman. She's as much a Democrat as Brown is, and just a bit less fail:

Is California A Lost Cause?
Donald -- PLEASE DON'T make the same mistake that so many people I know did in 2008 -- by staying home or actively NOT voting for John McCain. Don't believe that there isn't much difference between Jerry Brown and Meg Whitman. There is a HUGE difference -- whatever you think of Whitman, Brown is a total tool of the same unions who have gotten California into the mess that it is in. He is BAD FOR BUSINESS. Whitman is not Chuck Devore, but she is a former CEO who at least understands what it means to HAVE A REAL JOB IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR!!
Don't put Brown into power by not supporting Whitman -- like with Obama, the costs are just too high. Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the better alternative here. I implore you to get behind her candidacy. California's future hangs in the balance -- more of Brown means more of Gray Davis!!!
I have to agree with Kenneth. Everyone who did not vote for McCain because he was not the ideal candidate left us with a very poor excuse for a President who is doing all kinds of damage to this country. Both my wife and I had to hold our noses to vote for McCain, but we both knew Obama was and is a disaster. How many people does one have to see out of work, note the freedom we have being trampled on, et al before one gets that perfection in a candidate is not possible.
I would love to vote for someone instead of voting against someone more than once in my life time, but I am not holding my breath.
I'll have to also agree with both these gentlemen, Obama is the ultimate socialist anti-Christ. He obviously came to power to convert all us good Christian men to Islam then marry us to other Islamic men. After that, he's going to open all the borders and let every damn immigrant in to take all the jobs that we don't want to but care about anyway. And Jerry Brown, that death penalty hating bastard, will probably help him. But as our enlightened author, Donald, kindly pointed out, Meg Whitman is also a socialist liberal failure. I say we vote for neither of them and vote Jesus for governor.
