Liel Leibovitz on the Ahmari/French Debate Over Conservatism

A big story on Twitter right now is Steven Crowder getting demonetized by YouTube, after a homosexual dude known as @GayWonk got his feelings hurt and mounted an all-out jihad against Crowder, claiming "homophobia," "racism," and who knows what else?

The Other McCain blogged on this a couple of days ago: "Totalitarian @GayWonk Is Attempting to Silence Conservative @SCrowder."

Meanwhile, I'm very interested in the debate Sohrab Ahmari kicked off with his blistering essay at First Things. I blogged about it here: "Our Existential Struggle."

I'm on Sohrab's side, but boy is this debate getting testy.

I'll have more, no doubt, but definitely read this piece from Liel Leibovich, at the Tablet, "Why Jews Should Pay Attention to the Recent Debate Rocking American Conservatism":

You don’t have to be conservative, or particularly religious, to spot a few deep-seated problems with the arguments advanced by French, Stephens, and the rest of the Never Trump cadre. Three fallacies in particular stand out.

The first has to do with the self-branding of the Never Trumpers as champions of civility. From tax cuts to crushing ISIS, from supporting Israel to appointing staunchly ideological justices to the Supreme Court, there’s very little about the 45th president’s policies that ought to make any principled conservative run for the hills. What, then, separates one camp of conservatives, one that supports the president, from another, which vows it never will? Stephens himself attempted an answer in a 2017 column. “Character does count,” he wrote, “and virtue does matter, and Trump’s shortcomings prove it daily.”

To put it briefly, the Never Trump argument is that they should be greatly approved of, while Donald Trump should rightly be scorned, because—while they agree with Trump on most things, politically—they are devoted to virtue, while Trump is uniquely despicable. The proofs of Trump’s singular loathsomeness are many, but if you strip him of all the vices he shares with others who had recently held positions of power—a deeply problematic attitude towards women (see under: Clinton, William Jefferson), shady business dealings (see under: Clinton, Hillary Rodham), a problematic attitude towards the free press (see under: Obama, Barack)—you remain with one ur-narrative, the terrifying folk tale that casts Trump as a nefarious troll dispatched by his paymasters in the Kremlin to set American democracy ablaze.

Now that this story has been thoroughly investigated and discredited, it seems fair to ask: Is championing a loony and deeply corrosive conspiracy theory proof of anyone’s superior virtue? The fact that these accusations were false implies that the Never Trumpers who made them early and often were among the political pyromaniacs, and are therefore deserving of the very obloquy that they heaped on Trump. And what about people like Carter Page, a blameless ex-Navy officer who was defamed as an agent of a shadowy, ever-expanding conspiracy headquartered in Moscow?

Conspiracy-mongering doesn’t seem like much of a public virtue. Certainly, the Never Trumpers should have known better than to join in the massive publicity campaign around a “dossier” supposedly compiled by a former British intelligence officer rehashing third-hand hearsay and paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign. You can still find many faults with Donald Trump’s behavior in and out of office, including some cardinal enough perhaps to merit impeachment, without buying in to some moronic ghost story about an orange-hued traitor who seized the highest office in the land with the help of Vladimir Putin’s social media goons. All that should go without saying, especially for people who ostensibly devote their lives to elevating and enriching the tone of our public discourse.

It is therefore particularly strange to find that David French lent his considerable conservative credibility to the Russiagate lunacy. Here he is, for example, mocking those calling Russiagate a hoax by accusing them of being complicit with Trump receiving oppositional research from a foreign power—which, ironically, is precisely what the Clinton campaign had in fact done, in compiling the “dossier” in the first place. And here he is cheering for the now highly contested BuzzFeed story alleging that Trump instructed his lawyer, Michael Cohen, to lie to Congress, an allegation that is contradicted by the Mueller report itself. And here he is dismissing the suggestion, by then backed by mounting evidence, that Russiagate may be a hoax or itself some kind of conspiracy.

It is true that French took care to sound unfailingly fair, a lone voice for reason in a political reality inflamed by lunatics left and right. The thing he was being reasonable about, however, was an FBI investigation that emerged out of a blatant politically motivated forgery. Now, it’s perfectly plausible that French was carrying on his arguments in good faith, even when overwhelming evidence to the contrary was always there for a slightly more curious or skeptical journalist to discover. What’s disturbing, from the public virtue standpoint, is that French has yet to admit his own failings, which are compounded by his less-than-courageous misrepresentations of what he actually wrote: In his reply to Ahmari, he strongly denied he had promoted the collusion story, a point of view that’s difficult to defend when your byline appears on stories like “There Is Now Evidence That Senior Trump Officials Attempted to Collude with Russia.”

French and the other self-appointed guardians of civility, then, should do us all a favor and drop the civic virtue act. They’re not disinterested guardians of our public institutions; they are actors, working in an industry that rewards them for dressing up in Roman Republican drag and reciting Cicero for the yokels. This is why Bill Kristol, another of the Never Trumpers, could raise money for his vanity website, The Bulwark, and why he could expect his new creation be lauded on CNN as “a conservative site unafraid to take on Trump,” even as the site was staffed by leftist millennials and dutifully followed progressive propaganda lines. Like anyone whose living depends on keeping on the right side of a leftist industry, they understood that there’s only so much you can say if you care about cashing a paycheck—especially when the president and leader of your own party won’t take your phone calls.

The Never Trumpers, of course, aren’t the first Americans to hide cold careerism behind a wall of virtue-signaling. It’s why so many in the professional punditry went the way of Never Trump: More than anything else, the decision to align oneself with a movement that, ontologically, vows to reject the president a priori, no matter what he might say or do, regardless of your own supposed political beliefs, is a way of affirming one’s professional class loyalties, thus ensuring that your progeny will still be accepted and acceptable at Yale.

Which, really, wouldn’t be much of a problem if the Never Trumpers were all as genuinely committed to gentility as David French. Sadly, they’re not, and you needn’t go much further than Stephens’ column to understand why. Stephens and Ahmari are friendly. It was Stephens who helped Ahmari get his first job at The Wall Street Journal. And Stephens is thanked in Ahmari’s recent memoir, a candid, thoughtful, and deeply moving account of his journey to Catholicism. And Bret Stephens is a gentleman, in a way that Donald Trump surely is not. Yet it is possible to imagine Stephens as the wrong kind of gentleman when reading his column contra Ahmari: Sounding every bit like a bigoted member of a 19th-century gentleman’s club railing against the papists, Stephens casually and cruelly robs his former protégé of the intricacies of his faith-based argument for the pleasure of painting him as “an ardent convert” merrily rolling along on his way to a Handmaid’s Tale-like future for America.

To tell an Iranian immigrant that he doesn’t understand the way American liberalism works because he ended up on the side of faith rather than on the side of deracinated cosmopolitan universalism isn’t just an impoverished reading of America’s foundations or a blatantly condescending comment; it’s also indicative of a mindset that seeks to immediately equate any disagreement with some inherent and irreparable character flaw.

On the subject of dissenters, the Never Trumpers eternal and immovable contempt merely apes that of their newfound pals on the left, for whom the president is a Nazi, the Republicans are perennially in the throes of a War on Women, and anyone who doesn’t fully subscribe to the latest lunacies of the identity politics-driven college campus cult is a racist creep. You may believe such an approach to politics is effective, but to pretend it is somehow morally superior is dishonest at best and, at worst, nefarious—a sleazy attempt to portray anyone who disagrees with you as not quite clean enough to be admitted into the league of enlightened gentlemen.

So much for the cocktail party chatter. The larger problem here is that at no point do Stephens, French, et al. deliver a concrete explanation of how they propose conservatism go about opposing, to say nothing of reversing, the new social and moral order that the progressive left has been busily implementing in America for a decade or more. At best, they claim that there’s no real crisis after all.

Presumably, the Never Trumpers and their ilk were simply manipulating the rubes and making bank when they denounced tenured radicals and liberal judges and the like under Clinton and Obama. In reality, they are perfectly content to live in a culture in which universities reject scientifically sound peer-reviewed papers for fear of offending the transgender community; in which pro-Israel speakers are routinely shouted down on campuses, and people with unpopular views are physically attacked; in which large technology platforms actively censor speech; in which journalists giddily defend the doxxing of a private citizen who created and shared a video they didn’t like; in which faith and those who practice it in earnest are dismissed as benighted bigots; in which the whims of unelected bureaucrats trump the rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. Never Trump was therefore a misnomer; they were simply elitist progressives who did an awkward kind of dance before arriving at their predestined home in the Democratic Party.

Ahmari, not unlike the zealous left he opposes, has a very distinct idea of where he wants the country to go. He doesn’t want it to end up where objecting to lunatic theories, forged by crackpot academics and defying millennia of lived human experience, gets you called a bigot and fired from your job. He doesn’t want to try and engage in dialogue with people who believe that disagreeing with their opinions causes them some sort of harm and that speech must therefore be regulated by the government or large tech companies. He doesn’t want an America in which color of skin and religious affiliation and sexual preference trump or mute the content of your character. Looking at public schools and private universities, Hollywood and publishing, academia and social media, Ahmari sees the threat posed by progressive doctrine to established American norms and values as entirely real. That he wants to fight it doesn’t make him, as Stephens suggested, a Catholic mullah-in-waiting. It makes him a normal American...

Open-Borders Leftists Push to Oust Donald Trump from Phoenix Convention Center

At the video is far left-wing nut job Steve Gallardo, a member of the Board of Supervisors for Maricopa County. He's pretty angry about this, a fever swamp leftist troll, in fact.

And see the Arizona Republic, "Phoenix council members slam Trump visit":

Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton and several City Council members are denouncing Donald Trump's Arizona campaign visit, with some members arguing the event shouldn't be held at the Phoenix Convention Center.

Stanton and Councilmembers Michael Nowakowski, Daniel Valenzuela and Kate Gallego, all Democrats, were the first to speak publicly on Trump's planned speech.

They said they don't agree with the Republican presidential candidate's views and think his remarks on illegal immigrants have been "ignorant," "racially inflammatory" and "disgusting."

But Stanton said the city will not interfere with plans for the Trump event to be held at the taxpayer-funded Phoenix Convention Center.

Trump, who has been criticized for calling some undocumented immigrants rapists and criminals, is set to speak on immigration at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Convention Center's North Ballroom. Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio also is slated to speak.

The event was originally scheduled for the Arizona Biltmore, but the location shifted to the downtown Phoenix venue to accommodate the thousands who are expected to attend, Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks said.

In a statement released this week, Valenzuela said the event should be held elsewhere.

"Mr. Trump certainly has a First Amendment right to bluster as much as he wants, and even to pander to our worst instincts in a sad attempt to win votes at the expense of hard-working, honorable, law-abiding Latinos," Valenzuela said.

"However, we should draw the line at allowing him to use the Phoenix Convention Center — a public building funded by all of our taxpayers' dollars — to stage his hate-filled circus."

Gallego also disapproved of Trump's visit, suggesting unhappy residents protest the event.

"It is my hope and prayer that Phoenicians join me in exercising our First Amendment rights to let Mr. Trump know that the residents of Phoenix find his views repugnant," she said in a statement Thursday. "Just because the lawyers say we can't turn him away doesn't mean he's welcome."

Stanton, also in a released statement, said, "Mr. Trump has a right under the First Amendment to make absurd and embarrassing statements, and the city of Phoenix will not attempt to censor political speech based on content.

"The Convention Center is a public facility and open to everyone willing to pay for it — including Mr. Trump."

Councilman Bill Gates, a Republican, said Trump's views "do not reflect the majority of Arizonans and the majority of Arizona Republicans." He agreed with Stanton, saying the city does not prohibit any use of the center because of political ideology.

Added Nowakowski in a separate statement: "I support our First Amendment right to free speech and as a city, we cannot discriminate based on content or person ... Phoenix will not be tarnished by this event."

Councilwoman Thelda Williams agreed that Phoenix can't block Trump from speaking at the convention center.

"I think all the presidential candidates are welcome to come say their piece so people have an opportunity to hear what they have to say and make up their own minds," she said.
Another case where anti-speech leftists just can't stand the First Amendment, and funny how there's nothing they can do about it. The f-king losers.

Charleston Shootings Undercut Hope Obama Brought for Better Race Relations

Hope and change came and went.

The country's most polarizing president fails in his long-forgotten pledge to unify the country against racial division.

It's a failed presidency. Obama's going down as one of the worst ever. Particularly sad to see him push the tired gun control narrative before the last rites were read for the dead. But that's the scope of things with the far-left Democrat Party these days. Political and moral bankruptcy, with the president barely able to phone it in before he leaves office in 2017.

At the New York Times:

WASHINGTON — The shooting massacre of a black pastor and his parishioners at a South Carolina church on Wednesday night once again confronted President Obama with a moment of racial turmoil in a country that for all its progress has yet to completely shed the burden of hatred and division.

After a series of police shootings, protests and riots, this latest eruption of violence reflected a country on edge and a president struggling to pull the American people together. Any hopes of what supporters once called a “post-racial” era now seem fanciful as Mr. Obama’s second term increasingly focuses on what he termed “the darker part of our history.”

In a pattern that has become achingly familiar to him and the nation, Mr. Obama on Thursday strode down to the White House briefing room to issue a statement of mourning and grief as he called on the country to unify in the face of tragedy. This time, though, the ritual was made all the more poignant because Mr. Obama personally knew the Rev. Clementa C. Pinckney, the pastor slain at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C., as well as other members of the congregation.

“This is not the first time that black churches have been attacked and we know that hatred across races and faiths pose a particular threat to our democracy and our ideals,” Mr. Obama told a national television audience. “The good news is I am confident that the outpouring of unity and strength and fellowship and love across Charleston today from all races, from all faiths, from all places of worship indicates the degree to which those old vestiges of hatred can be overcome.”

If those words of optimism were belied by his own grim face and subdued tone, perhaps it reflected a certain weariness or frustration over the limits of his ability to change the nation he leads. While his own election nearly seven years ago once seemed to harken a new era in race relations, the events of the last couple years especially seem to continually mock that hope.

The racially charged killing of Trayvon Martin, the fatal encounters with police in places like Ferguson, Mo., Staten Island and North Charleston, S.C., and the upheaval in Baltimore have all served to put the nation’s unfinished business back on the agenda. By virtue of his own background, Mr. Obama has addressed them with a personal perspective none of his predecessors in the White House ever could. And yet easy solutions elude him just as they did them.

“Part of what I take from this is on the one hand the realization that this struggle still continues and despite profound change there is still profound hatred,” said Lonnie Bunch, the founding director of the National Museum of African-American History and Culture, set to open in Washington next year. “It is a fundamentally different country. It’s a country that has changed in ways that are amazing. But it is still a country that is still torn apart by race.”

Such a realization occurs at a moment when the president who responds with words of comfort and the attorney general who announces a vigorous joint investigation are both African-Americans.
Mr. Obama has spent much of the last couple years addressing race in a more expansive way than he did in his first term, because of stark events as well as because of the anniversaries of iconic moments in the civil rights movement. He has started an initiative called My Brother’s Keeper to help young Latino and African-American men, and he indicated that effort will be one of his primary missions after leaving office.

In the meantime, it seems likely that issues of race and violence will shape the conversation for the rest of Mr. Obama’s tenure as well as during the campaign to succeed him. Many of those aspiring to Mr. Obama’s job have been wrestling with how to address the nation’s persistent divide, and they weighed in about the latest violence with statements of grief and outrage...
Ed Morrissey has more, at Hot Air, "Obama: This kind of violence doesn’t happen elsewhere, you know."

No 'Troll Rights' on Twitter for Terrorist Jihadis

Heh, I guess the ISIS jihadis weren't pleased to find out they had no "troll rights" on Twitter.

At Breitbart, "TWITTER CEO: ISIS THREATENED TO ASSASSINATE ME FOR DELETING JIHADIST ACCOUNTS."

ISIS jihadists are just like leftist trolls, in that regard. They threaten to make your life miserable, if not kill you, if you deny they have a right to post at "public commenting systems." I mean really. Like Twitter and Blogger are "public commenting systems." But then, leftists like this smear conservatives as racist for standing up against jihad, so no surprise that Twitter CEO Dick Costolo is getting these death threats. Nothing --- nothing! --- is allowed to stand in the way of leftist-Islamist totalitarianism.

'If this is the gay rights movement today – hounding our opponents with a fanaticism more like the religious right than anyone else – then count me out...'

Says Andrew Sullivan, "The Hounding of a Heretic":
The guy who had the gall to express his First Amendment rights and favor Prop 8 in California by donating $1,000 has just been scalped by some gay activists. After an OKCupid decision to boycott Mozilla, the recently appointed Brendan Eich just resigned under pressure....

Will he now be forced to walk through the streets in shame? Why not the stocks? The whole episode disgusts me – as it should disgust anyone interested in a tolerant and diverse society. If this is the gay rights movement today – hounding our opponents with a fanaticism more like the religious right than anyone else – then count me out. If we are about intimidating the free speech of others, we are no better than the anti-gay bullies who came before us.
As much as I dislike Andrew Sullivan, he's been consistently standing up against the left's gaystapo of late.

Walter James Casper III not so much. The stalking hate-troll RT'd this disgusting piece from regressive dirtbag Will Oremus:

Lots more at Memeorandum. And see Allahupundit, especially, "Mozilla CEO “resigns” after uproar over his opposition to gay marriage," and "How did people find out that Mozilla’s CEO donated to support Prop 8?"

None of this is new. See Michelle Malkin, "Anti-Prop. 8 mob watch: L.A. Film Festival director resigns over donations," and "The insane rage of the same-sex marriage mob."

This brings back a lot of memories, since for months after the 2008 election I blogged the homosexual marriage issue every which way you can think of. I'm kinda bored with it at this point. It's not like we didn't see this coming. Leftists feel empowered with their newfound majority approval of homosexuality and they're going to force dissenters to get in line. Indeed, that's the exact language they use. Wilson Cruz told Phil Robertson to "get in line." If you don't, you're going to pay. Leftist fascism is out and proud.

"Julian's favourite activity was following what people — especially his 'enemies' — were saying about him on the internet..."

Well, I had to get a laugh out of that line. The author, Andrew O'Hagan, slams WikiLeaks paranoiac Julian Assange in his practically book-length essay at the London Review of Books, "Ghosting."

Last week everyone was saying how "interesting" the piece was on Twitter, although it's so long it took me a couple of sessions to read during office hours at work.

So, you're warned, heh. Personally, I can't stand reading long essays like this online. I'd rather be reclining in bed reading a book. But since O'Hagan might have been explaining the perverted psychopathy of my deranged troll-rights stalker, I can't resist the lulz: "Repsac3's favorite activity was following what people — especially his 'enemies' — were saying about him on the internet..."

It's true, of course. Although for Repsac I wouldn't refer to his "favorite activity" of stalking in the past tense. He's still as bad as ever. Worse even, since he's set his criminal stalking hate-blog American Nihilist to "invitation only" in order to plan his attacks out of the investigative purview of legal authorities. But yeah. Either way, the pathetic communist asshat's still at it. See, "Hi Donald Douglas: You Have a New Stalking Troll-Rights Follower Harasser @Repsac3 on Disqus."

Hi Donald Douglas: You Have a New Stalking Troll-Rights Follower Harasser @Repsac3 on Disqus

A few weeks back, fresh off Roy Edroso commenter Selwyn Hollis' workplace harassment, I received this notification from Disqus: "Repsac3 is now following you on Disqus."

Right. My stalking troll rights harasser --- no, my lying stalking troll rights harasser who lies constantly about his ghoulish obsession with me and this blog --- adjusted his Disqus settings to follow my every single comment posted to the Disqus system.

Nope, no sick obsession there. You see, Disqus lets users follow any commenter at the system through the dashboard settings. So, any and all comments I make, no matter where I make them, would be aggregated among Repsac's follows at the system. And why? Well, despite denying that he's sick psychopath intent to inflict harm, harassment and evil on his political enemies, Repsac3 was no doubt hoping to find some off-color comments by me to forward to my place of employment in one more pathetic attempt to have me fired. He's done it before with his sponsorship of workplace harassment at American Nihilist. So this is just one more episode of systematic and criminal workplace intimidation and political recrimination.

Recall, as Robert Stacy McCain wrote in January, "Portrait of a Stalker Troll: @Repsac3, Also Known as Walter James Casper III":

Troll-Rights Harasser Repsac3 photo c942833b-bdb0-4476-9426-fb7c429413f3_zpsb08082ce.png
Professor Donald Douglas has spent years fighting one particularly obsessed troll, Walter James Casper III, who might actually out-rank Bill Schmalfeldt in the Stalker Hall of Shame, because Casper has been cyberstalking Douglas for more than five years.

Among the significant characteristics of cyberstalkers is the disproportionality of their obsessions. Professor Douglas is not an academic celebrity or influential media personality. He’s a professor of political science at Long Beach City College in California. It is not as if he’s at Berkeley, Stanford, Columbia, Yale or some other big-money “prestige” school, and yet the fact that Professor Douglas is (a) conservative and (b) a blogger is sufficient to justify in Casper’s sick mind the most insane forms of stalking behavior.

Another characteristic of cyberstalkers is their resort to psychological projection: They are not obsessed with you — no! — you are obsessed with them, and don’t you dare accuse them of harassing you — of course not! — you are instead harassing them.

This kind of “accuse the accusers” tactic serves two purposes for the troll: First, it is a psychological rationalization by which he justifies his behavior and, second, it serves to obfuscate the situation in the eyes of law enforcement or other authorities.

Something else: The conflict between Casper and Professor Douglas is not about politics, nor is it about Professor Douglas.

That is to say, Casper’s espousal of left-wing political ideas is not the reason for his behavior, but simply a pretext, and if he weren’t harassing Professor Douglas, he’d be harassing some other target, selected more or less at random ... despite such clear evidence that no one else shares his obsession, Casper continues doing what he does, apparently with no other purpose except to annoy the target of his weird fixation.

Fish gotta swim. Birds gotta fly. Stalkers gotta stalk.
And remember, no one knows more about psychopathic leftist Internet trolls than Robert Stacy McCain. Don't miss his update yesterday on the Kimberlin lawsuit, "In Which @AceOfSpadesHQ Becomes a First Amendment Cause Célèbre."

In any case, as you can see with this deranged Disqus following situation, Repsac's still gotta stalk --- the f-king perverted homo-loving loser. Oh, and did I say Israel-loathing, Communist-loving, ObamaCare-shilling hack partisan dirtbag? Yeah, well that too. Walter James Casper III's got it bad --- which is why he's been ridiculed and repudiated across the entire conservative blogosphere. He's universally reviled, in fact. It's an impressive feat.

Oh, and and just in case Repsac's harassing you, here's this on blocking the f-ker on Disqus: "Disqus publicly launches its new private profiles feature," and "Making your activity private."

Fish gotta swim...

Communism: World's Worst Idea — And Where Are Today's Anti-Communist Liberals?

Robert Stacy McCain's been hammering wannabe intellectual and Communist poseur Jesse Myerson, the idiot who recently earned his 15 minutes with the widely-ridiculed piece at Rolling Stone last month, "Five Economic Reforms Millennials Should Be Fighting For."

Here's Robert at the American Spectator, "The Worst Idea in the World: Young communist Jesse Myerson recycles old red clichés."

And on Twitter.

Leftist Democrats today embrace Communists. As I've been saying for years, for regressives, there are no enemies on the left.

Records Show Christie Administration Canceled Meetings After Jersey City Mayor Didn't Endorse

I never did blog this story because I was in the middle of lengthy troll rights blogging as it broke. I did watch the Christie press conference, or at least the main part of it. I went back to bed as the darned thing droned on for a couple of hours.

In any case, here's an update at WSJ, "Documents Back Up Jersey City Mayor's Claim that He Was Cut Off":
Documents released Monday indicate that meetings arranged between top commissioners to Gov. Chris Christie and Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop were abruptly canceled without reason last year—providing evidence of Mr. Fulop's claim that he was cut off after he decided not to endorse the governor.

The documents viewed by The Wall Street Journal through a public records request showed communications between Mr. Fulop and Christie administration staff members arranging the meetings in June and July, until the commissioners all canceled one meeting after another.

Bwahaha! Robert Stacy McCain Eviscerates Egghead Avatar Hate-Troll Walter James Casper III

I had no idea, but yesterday I slept in as I usually do, and it was probably early afternoon before I even checked my Twitter feed and my SiteMeter. And what do you know? Nothin' but hilarious lulz when I saw Robert Stacy McCain's epic smackdown of the reviled obsessive stalking hate-troll Walter James Casper III, a.k.a Repsac3.

See, "Portrait of a Stalker Troll: @Repsac3, Also Known as Walter James Casper III."

Even better has been the lulz on Twitter:

Now, this might deserve another post, but I'll append it here for now, but once again, with his psychotic ramblings in response to Robert Stacy McCain's glorious beatdown, demented troll Walter James Casper also reminded us that he's a pathological liar. (I should probably create a tag for "Demented Psycho Liars" just for Repsac, but as it turns out you hit the motherload searching the nav-bar for "James Casper Liar." Seriously, every other word that comes out of this guy's mouth's a f-king lie. And I hate liars, which is one of the main reasons I hate communists. They're disgusting liars, and in Repsac's case, a disgusting liar and communist, but that goes without saying. Here's just one for reference, "W. James Casper is a Coward, a Fraud, and a Liar.")

It turns out that the butt-hurt has been so bad that hate-addled Reppy's literally been online 24-7 obsessively attempting to shoot down all the hammering snark that's been ripping him apart all over the web. The thread at Robert Stacy McCain's is so funny you have to stop and hold your side! Repsac's so stupid. Folks have been DMing me with even more lulz slamming the asshole. Zilla was rolling at how Repsac "soiled himself" in the comments at the Other McCain. I'd feel sorry for him if he wasn't such a hate-filled psycho douchebag.

Nowhere are there better lulz than at "Hate-sac's" own dung-hole stalk-blog, American Nihilist. The repulsive and proven liar Carl Salonen, one of Repsac's key blog-stalking allies, wondered how "Speedo" (Robert Stacy McCain) "noticed [Donald's post] you if you hadn't said word boo to him or AssProf in months?" And on cue, hate-troll Casper lies through his sh*t-stained teeth in response, "In all the years that AssProf has been lashing out, this is the first time Speedo has ever deigned to take any obvious notice of Don's lil obsession." I admit even being surprised at how carelessly racist Repsac's willing to spew lies. It's actually breathtaking, especially since Repsac himself is so obsessive-compulsive he's actually recorded the times that Robert Stacy McCain has taken "obvious notice" of Casper's deranged stalking.

Here's the tweet from December 10, 2012:

And then on Casper's stalk-blog he psychotically records the moment on the very next day, "IRT: This Twitter post) - Tuesday, December 11, 2012, 6:00 AM - American Power: Epic Loser Walter James Casper III 'Isn't a Very Effective User' of Twitter..."

Clearly not only is Repsac a demented troll and pathological liar, he's not very smart. Why keep an objectively obsessive-compulsive record of every thing that your target's written about you online if you can't even be bright enough to cite those mentions in later iterations when you're trying to destroy your enemy? It's like the old saying goes, "Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive."

And if that's not enough, Walter James Casper is one of the key trolls who's responsible for the "troll rights theory" of stalking and harassment, and Robert Stacy McCain links to my report on Casper's stalking here, "Imaginary ‘Rights’ You Don’t Have, You Sad and Disgusting Troll, Bill Schmalfeldt."

Now I admit, these are gobsmackingly "obvious" examples of the numerous times that Robert Stacy McCain has taken notice of the repulsive Casper. Indeed, Robert doesn't like Casper at all it turns out, and has thrown down a warning in the comments:
Tell you what, Casper: You go nurse your hurts in your own dark corner of the Internet and don't give me another excuse to take notice of you. That's gonna be a win-win, see? Because I've got no shortage of weirdos to pay attention to, and you really don't want me on your case.
Now, if he were smart (he's not, of course, but bear with me), Walter James Casper would probably steer clear of Robert Stacy McCain, particularly regarding the comments. Because while I've recommended that hate-troll Casper be banned wherever he shows his horrifically ugly mug, Robert's not one to ban people outright. He likes his stalkers to leave attack trails and comments that end up providing enough rope for them to hang themselves. And with all that Robert's going through these days --- and I'm talking not just about the Kimberlin harassment and lawsuits, but also all the normal hard-left attacks that conservatives deal with from the psycho left on a daily basis --- I'd be the last person to push my luck with him when he lays down a clear warning to back the f-k off.

Years ago, a reader of my blog had resources from one of those background research sources that for a fee will provide personal information on people. The reader sent me a file on Repsac. I think it even included a photo of his home in Mastic, New York, which I gather is on Long Island (or that included a link to a photo online). If I recall it was an older one story home, apparently on a street corner, with a large-trunk tree on the front lawn. The place looked kinda run down. That's the basic description, if memory serves me. Not sure. There was a street address as well. There was other information too, about family members. I already know where Casper went to high school and (surprisingly, because he's so retarded) college. Some of this information is easily found just by a quick search for "Repsac3" on Google. But some is definitely proprietary. Basically, hate-addled Walter James Casper's ripe for a doxing. And not just a quick Internet search doxing. We're talking about a full professional investigation-style doxing. All this is speculation, but hey, stalkers do face consequences sometimes, and if anyone deserves the honors it's the universally reviled Repsac3. Frankly, what pisses people off is not only that Repsac's a despicable troll (truly evil, in fact), but that he maintains a stalking hate-blog along the lines of Breitbart Unmasked.

These are all just ruminations and speculation, but you never can be too careful.

In any case, I'll probably need some additional posting to catalog both the epic lulz and the endless lies. Here I'll just conclude with a couple of the objective truths from the commenters at the Other McCain:
Casper & Schamlfeldt: separated at birth? (And may God have mercy on any womb that birthed them...) -- Texlovera.
Get a life ... Your whole blog is about DOUG [Donald Douglas]. You're just a crazy moonbat. You must be bored out of your damned skull. Have you thought about getting some meds for this psychosis? -- Mad Jewess Woman.
Hell, even some folks I know on medication understand that ignoring is the best policy. Or at the very least understand that being a creepy stalker is not a good thing. Just sayin'. -- La Pucelle.
That's all for now, lol.

Enough! Stand Up to Harassment and Stalking — Block and Report Walter James Casper in 2014

Recall from last year, "Ban, Block and Report Walter James Casper III in 2013."

It's been exactly one year and this vile POS continues to stalk my blog and Twitter feed, and he continues to stalk the comments at this blog despite being banned for abuse years ago.

The leftists are on defense as their statist-collectivist project continues to go implode before our eyes. But as we saw with the widely ridiculed piece on Millennial socialism at Rolling Stone, far leftists are not shy about outing themselves as full-blown communists these days, no doubt emboldened after 5 year of the most radical president in American history.

As I pointed out last year, Walter James Casper III, a.k.a. Repsac3, is an ideological communist who uses stealth to hide his agenda, attack political enemies, and harass people online. Numerous friends of American Power have denounced Casper as hardline harasser and communist ideologue. He's basically a dirtbag and a loser.

And now I come to find out he and his blog henchmen have been stalking some of my blog allies on Twitter. People are not pleased and folks should expect an epic beatdown.

I'll update later.

Meanwhile, report Walter James Casper III to the appropriate authorities should he target you with his demonic hatred and harassment. This person is truly vile. Recall the Vox Day's comment on truly useless blog trolls:
Vox Popoli is not, and will never be, an echo chamber. There are not, and will never be, any topics that are definitively outside the scope of permissible intellectual discourse ... The only commenters whose participation I will not tolerate is those who repeatedly lie, who demonstrate proven intellectual dishonesty, and who simply refuse to admit it when someone else has publicly shown them to be wrong. If you are not at least capable of acknowledging that you could be wrong about an idea, no matter how near and dear it is to you, then you will probably be better served commenting at a place where your ideas will not be questioned or criticized.
That description fits racist Repsac3 to the letter, and that's why he was banned years ago. The POS defied my wishes and announced a "troll rights" theory to justify his obsession with this blog and his hatred of the moral clarity of American Power. He's a cancer. And the asshole still has the sickness.

More later.

And remember, never cave to these f-kers. Leftists are evil. They defy decency and reason. You must crush them with the mailed fist.

Overdue Rule 5

I should soon get back to posting my big Rule 5 roundups, but today I wanted to mostly throw some linkage to Dana Pico, who has been very generous in linking American Power.

Sabine photo BTBMbP-CYAEjXyi_zps75022ab3.jpg
So here we go, over at First Street Journal, "From Around the Blogroll."

Also, "With liberals, the first casualty is always the truth."

And see, "Rule 5 Blogging: From Portugal."

*************

Now, for some limited Rule 5 linkage:

See Subject to Change, "Rule 5 in the Kitchen."

And at Pirate's Cove, "If All You See……is an evil plastic bottle that’s evil not because they make a mess of the environment, but because of CO2, you might just be a Warmist."

And at Randy's Roundtable, "Thursday Nite Tart (on Wednesday) - In my opinion the hottest model on the planet bar none..."

And from Proof Positive, "Friday Night Babe: Doutzen Kroes!"

Also at Drunken Stepfather, "STEPLINKS OF THE DAY."

And ICYMI, at the Other McCain, "Bitches Be Cray-Cray: A Heteropatriarchal Theory of Non-Transformative Justice."

NOTICE: Ima try posting Rule 5 roundups more frequently, so if you're looking from some linkage drop your babes at the comments. Or send them to me by email. (This invitation does not apply to depraved troll rights harassers, who will be reported to the proper authorities for criminal stalking and intimidation.)

President Obama's Comments on #TrayvonMartin and Being Black in America

I've watched the entire clip and I think it's good to recognize that the president was sincere in his desire to add something meaningful to the discussion of the Zimmerman verdict and the controversial issues of race in America that we've been having. I'm not particularly impressed with his comments, especially those about racial profiling, but since I've often in the past criticized Obama for not using the bully pulpit to speak about the crisis of black America I've got to give at least mini props to his later comments about using the powers of his office to convene resources for our vulnerable black youth across the nation. As a second term president with declining capital, this could be one of the most important legacies of his entire time in office. And notice how the president blew off talk of grand new federal programs to address such concerns. That's both a recognition that he wouldn't get much done legislatively as well as a statement on the need to increase private social capital in distressed communities outside the purview of government. I think that's important.

Other than that, like I said, there's really not much here for me. Check Ace of Spades HQ's comments, for example, where he mentions that mostly Obama speaks in "Notional Sentences, that is to say, assemblages of words which mirror the structure and form of a content- and idea-conveying sentence but which actually contain far less than the sum of their word-parts." That's true, so again mostly we're dealing with symbolism rather than action. I don't even expect much follow through on that bit about helping black youth. Mostly it's just fair enough to note that the man has spoken and I expect a lot of inner city folks can take that to heart.

In any case, here's the New York Times' piece, "In Wake of Zimmerman Verdict, Obama Makes Extensive Statement on Race in America" (at Memeorandum).

I'm going to troll around for awhile and will update with additional reactions. Obama conceded, at the earlier part of the speech, that it's not likely that federal civil rights charges will be brought against George Zimmerman, so that's not likely to go over well with the hardline race grievance monsters on the Democrat race plantation, but we'll see.

Wanda Lee Ann Podgurski, Former Amtrak Clerk Convicted of Disability and Insurance Fraud, Nabbed in Mexico Through Twitter Tracking

Hey, they say social media addiction is out of hand, so there you go.

At the Los Angeles Times, "Fugitive tweets taunts to D.A., then gets caught via Twitter trace":

A former Amtrak clerk who fled after being convicted of disability and insurance fraud in January has been apprehended in Mexico, the San Diego County district attorney's office said Monday.

Wanda Lee Ann Podgurski, 60, had taunted authorities after she disappeared, including directing a tweet at D.A. Bonnie Dumanis: "Catch me if you can."

Podgurski was arrested Thursday in Rosarito. Her location was traced through her Twitter account by the Computer and Technology Crime High-Tech Response Team, authorities said.

She is set to be arraigned Monday in San Diego Superior Court on a charge of failing to appear while on bail.

Podgurski, in absentia, was sentenced to 20 years in prison after being convicted of receiving more than $650,000 in disability and insurance payments after faking injuries.
Let that be a warning to all the freak leftist troll rights harassers. Response teams be trackin' you down mf's.

Obama Rolls Out Red Carpet for Vile Jew-Hating Cleric Abdullah Bin Bayyah

Here's the report at the Investigative Project on Terrorism, "Exclusive: Banned Cleric's Outspoken Deputy Visits White House." And at Fox News, "Official confirms, defends White House meeting with controversial Muslim scholar."

And here the analysis at Michelle Malkin's, "Another White House play date with Muslim jihad":

Abdallah Bin Bayyah photo 800px-Abdallah_Bin_Bayyah_2009_zps7d9abe9a.jpg
Bin Bayyah’s moderate Muslim costume shouldn’t fool anyone. This sharia thug, who has worked with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to boost his progressive-friendly cred, lobbied the United Nations to outlaw all mockery and criticism of Allah. He raised money to benefit the terror group Hamas. He is a top lieutenant of Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Yusuf Qaradawi, who exhorts followers to kill every last Jew; sanctioned suicide bombings and the killing of our soldiers; expressed support for executing apostates and stoning gays; and declared that the “U.S. is an enemy of Islam that has already declared war on Islam under the disguise of war on terrorism and provides Israel with unlimited support.”

As jihad watchdogs have reported, the administration has rolled out the red carpet for dozens of Muslim Brotherhood officers, flacks and sympathizers. IPT noted last year: “White House visitor logs show that top U.S. policy-makers are soliciting and receiving advice from people who, at best, view the war on terrorism as an unchecked war on Muslims. These persons’ perspectives and preferred policies handcuff law enforcement and weaken our resolve when it comes to confronting terrorism.”

No kidding. Another Qaradawi cheerleader, Hisham al-Talib, was welcomed last spring at the White House by Obama’s Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. Four days later, White House officials welcomed a foreign delegation of the radical sharia-enforcing Muslim Brotherhood from Egypt. As I reported previously, al-Talib is an Iraqi-born Muslim identified by the FBI as a Muslim Brotherhood operative and a major contributor to the left-wing Center for Constitutional Rights, the group of jihadi-sympathizing lawyers who helped spring suspected Benghazi terror plotter Abu Sufian bin Qumu from Gitmo....

We need a zero tolerance policy for jihadist infiltrators and coddlers in Washington. Let’s make the most transparent administration ever live up to the hype. I suggest the White House be required to raise the black flag of Islamic jihad at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue every time President Obama welcomes these treacherous visitors.

Even better: Let’s take a page from Kanye West and project the names of all the Ikhwan-linked goons who are allowed to darken the White House doorstep onto the side of the Old Executive Office Building for all to see — along with their most infamous hate videos and fatwas against Jews, infidels, gays, women and U.S. soldiers. No more play dates with Muslim jihad behind closed doors. Light ‘em up.
Once again, this is the "progressive left" in action. Where are the denunciations for the troll rights harassers around the web? (Toe tapping ....) Oh, not forthcoming. No surprise.

Bwahaha!! Poor Widdle Wepsac3 Whines Hilariously: 'I'm the Victim! It's Me, I'm the Victim!'

OMG, this is the best.

Racist harassment troll Walter James Casper (the whiny little bitch) is now claiming he's the victim of harassment. Yeah, that oughta work. The lulz. They hurt. You can't make this stuff up. STOP. ROTFLMFAO!

I must be a really bad harasser, because Widdle Wepsac3, who now keeps a wee widdle clock counter at his harassment blog, completely missed me allegedly harassing him on Twitter. I gotta up my game, BHAHAHAHA!!

Wait! Wait!

He writes at his stupid troll rights blog, "43 days without a single obsessive attack from Dishonest Don..."

BWAHAHAHA!! Time to get back to school, loser. Math is hard! OMG that's hilarious. Such a dork.

Maybe subtract about ten days off of that, dork loser dirtbag. Folks know what you're all about: a sick harassment troll who needs some help:

Yeah, that twerp again. I replied:

ICYMI, the background's here, "Disgusting Troll Rights Harassment Blogger Continues Lying About Years-Long Campaign of Intimidation."

Widdle Whiny Wepsac3 wrote a widdle whiny post saying that old "Dishonest Don" is a bad, bad man. Meany old Donald is stalking Widdle Weppy! BWHAHAHA!

Not.

Everyone in their right mind knows that racist Walter James Casper III is one of the worst Internet trolls of all time. As Zilla wrote in 2011:
I almost feel sorry for that guy. Oh and if he's reading this, he should know that he may not comment at my blog unless he registers as a known troll & pays the toll.
Ha! Widdle Walter Weppy, the "known troll." That's perfect!

He stalks people all around online, attacks and torments them, AND THEN keeps a record of every single comment he makes --- because he knows he'll be banned like the ultimate asshole! It's true, it's true! He's got a comment blog called the "Immoderate Monk," which is a repository of all of Widdle Weppy Walter's deleted comments. Or it used to be, until he couldn't keep up with getting banned wherever he went on the Internet! OMG! BWAHAHAHA!!

Stop it! I'm busting a side here.

And he's the victim?!!

No, sorry. He's not. He's a projecting pathological liar who's the ringleader of a group of leftists trolls who tried to get me fired back in 2009. If this were Maryland he'd be criminally liable for stalking and harassment under that state's laws, just like his brother-from-another mother Bill Schmalfeldt.

And did I mention Widdle Whiny Walter Weppy is a buttfreak loser who even stalked Tania Gail all the way to her YouTube page? She told me that she warned Weppy she was gonna kick his ass. He's scared of her. Poor Weppy! The whiny little bitch! OMG I'm rolling on this! Tania's gonna kick his ass!

Anyway, I gotta stop laughing.

Robert Stacy McCain has more, and boy it hits really close to home for the racist troll rights harasser Walter James Casper III.

See, "Has Bill Schmalfeldt Forgotten?":
Persistently ignoring the wrongs he has committed, he makes accusations of wrongdoing against others as justifying further sadistic harassment of his chosen enemies.
Yes, because he's a victim!

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Disgusting Troll Rights Harassment Blogger Continues Lying About Years-Long Campaign of Intimidation

Walter James Casper III is an ultimate hate troll and a liar.

After launching an attack blog close to five years ago ("American Nihilist") he assembled a team of hard left online stalkers to foment a campaign of intimidation and harassment. This included Casper personally allowing my workplace contact information to be posted at his blog, with exhortations for radicals to contact my employer in attempts so harass, interfere with, and terminate my employment at the college. Casper himself was told to cease and desist from commenting at this blog Apr 23, 2010. He himself announced that he would never abide by my wishes as long as I was writing about him. That is, he claimed a "right" to comment on someone else's blog without permission. The courts in Maryland have just ruled that Kimberlin-associated harassment troll Bill Schmalfeldt is prohibited from contacting blogger John Hoge in any form of communication, online or in person. Walter James Casper III is essentially a brother-from-another-mother to Bill Schmalfeldt. For some deranged reason he continues to claim that he has a right to comment on this blog. But as John Hoge has shown, once a person has demanded an antagonist to cease and desist continued communications are subject to criminal liability.

John Hoge photo cease-tweet_zpsf6f37b9d.jpg

On April 23, 2010, I wrote, "Repsac3 Banned from American Power":
I rarely ban radical leftist commentators from American Power. Mostly, I'll moderate or disable comments if I don't feel like dealing with their stupidity (James B. Webb is a case in point). Mostly, I have fun with them for the sheer hilarity of it, and for the epistemological heuristic utility of obliterating the mindless left-wing/socialist ideological claptrap. And as we see time and again, leftists never seriously engage on point, but rather demonize, ridicule, and attack as racist as part of their ongoing program of intolerance and radical totalitarianism. I will continue to debunk and deflect all of this, since that's what I do. And I'll also continue the periodic back-and-forth blog wars as long as there's some fun or learning in it. But Repsac3's nothing more than the devil's frontman, and I've had enough. He's welcomed here no longer.
Obsessed hate troll Repsac3 then immediately wrote a blog post announcing:
As long as Donald Douglas is posting a public blog that accepts comments, I'm going to continue to comment on what he posts, whenever and wherever I choose.
And to this day he continues to claim a right to comment on this blog. He is an ultimate troll-rights harassment freak.

Harassment laws vary by state, but harassment is universally defined as continued unwanted communications and contacts "after the harasser has been told to cease." I wrote about this in February 2012, "Intent to Annoy and the Fascist Hate-Blogging Campaign of Walter James Casper III."

Hate-blogger and troll rights harasser Walter James Casper III has been told repeatedly and unequivocally to stop commenting at this blog; to stop contacting me personally by email; and to stop contacting my employer through his blog's postings with the intent to cause the termination of my employment.

Repsac3 continues to run his hate-blog even after virtually all his hate-henchmen have been beaten back and exposed as homosexuals, perverts, and criminal harassers.

Repsac3 is a loser. He and Bill Schmalfeldt are perfect no neckline fat-ass brothers-from-different-mothers.

Get a life asshole.

You are banned and your continued harassment is criminally prohibited.

The Other McCain Has Now Banned Bill Schmalfeldt From Posting

That's at Hogewash, "Is #BillSchmalfeldt Appealing?"

And linked there is R.S. McCain, "Imaginary ‘Rights’ You Don’t Have, You Sad and Disgusting Troll, Bill Schmalfeldt."

Yeah, don't let those f-kers use your own comments to harass you.

Asshole leftist trolls.

Freedom to Blog Update: June 15, 2013

I haven't done a Freedom to Blog update in awhile.

It turns out that Robert Stacy McCain has been updating us on the developments with the ultimate harassment troll Bill Schmalfeldt.

See, "Peace Order Against Bill Schmalfeldt: A Defeat for the ‘Troll Rights’ Movement," and "Hoge’s Victory Lap."

Hoge is John Hoge of Hogewash. And at his blog, "WOOT! Peace Order Granted Against Schmalfeldt," and "My Side, Part 2."

I've amended this post in response to Mr. Hoge's comment.

Added: Here's a quote from my deranged criminal stalker admitting that he'd been banned from my blog -- but also claiming that since I had continued to comment about about him at my blog, he had a right to continue to harass me in the comments section. This is, in fact, the definition of troll rights harassment:
Donald did very clearly announce that I was banned from commenting on his blog ... As he did not choose to ban himself from attacking me ..., however, I did not take his verbal banning very seriously, and continued to submit comments to those posts where he referred to me or my blog by name or other identifying feature.
Stalkers have no right to directly address you after they have been warned to cease and desist. But left-wing stalkers like Repsac3 are very determined in their vile programs to harm and torment their ideological opponents.

Mr. Hoge has updated his blog, for example, "#BillSchmalfeldt, Anti-First-Amendment Troll":
Let me state this one more time: I fully support Bill Schmalfeldt’s First Amendment right to write whatever he wishes about me so long as he stays within the law’s usual limits regarding threats and defamation. However, I do not wish for him to contact me, attempt to contact me, or harass me, and I will seek enforcement of the peace order if I believe that it has been violated.

Rush to Judgment: Dina Temple-Raston 'Scoffed' at Possibility of 'Saudi National' Suspected in #Boston Bombing

Terror enabling troll rights harasser Walter James Casper III continues to lie about the media's disgusting rush-to-judgment blaming conservatives for the Boston terror attack.

For some reason, adult sick f-k loser (ASFL) Repsac3 insists that what Ms. Temple-Raston actually said doesn't matter, and thus he can just keep spinning this lie about how she was "reporting" the news rather than spewing hateful racist attacks on conservatives.

Folks can find Racist Repsac3's racist blog post on Google: "Creepy-clown Stalker Donald Kent Douglas Doubles Down on Media Conspiracy Theory." But one more time: No government official claimed that right wing conservatives were motivated to launch a terrorist attack on Boston, on April 15th, because of Adolf Hitler's birthday. That is plain nutbag conspiracy theorizing and it's disgusting, but that's Racist Repsac3 for you, the sick f-k. Of course, readers will recall that NPR's Steve Inskeep reported on how Temple-Raston "scoffed" at the idea that the suspect was a "Saudi national" --- you know, because we're just fresh out of Saudi Muslims inspired by the Saudi-based teachings of al Qaeda, or some such sh-t like that.

No, for racist conspiracy racist Walter James Casper III, Temple-Raston was "reporting" the news, like a prime-time evening news segment, not commenting on the news on an extreme left-wing NPR commentary show for an extreme left-wing NPR audience. Seriously. Folks can read the transcript. Temple-Raston was interviewed for NPR's commentary show "All Things Considered." Temple-Raston was spewing racist nutbag conspiracies about bulls-t Nazi birthdays being celebrated by the far right. In other words, she's speculating. The transcript is right here in all of its tin hat glory: "Boston Marathon Bombing Case Gains Momentum."

I know. This is some whacked sh-t, but that's Racist Rim-Station Repsac3 for you.

Stoaty Weasel's got his number, and how, "We set fire to a gypsy. You?:

Simple, Free Image and File Hosting at MediaFire
“April is a big month for anti-government and right-wing individuals. There’s the Columbine anniversary, there’s Hitler’s birthday, there’s the Oklahoma City bombing, the assault on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco.”

–NPR’s Dina Temple-Raston, speculating that the Boston Marathon bombers were home grown (before the Tsarnaev brothers started shooting up the place, obviously).
Okay. Wow. Let’s take those in reverse order. “…the assault on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco…” was a really horrible episode in our history, in which a house full of religious nutcases were burned alive by federal agents for no good reason. It did indeed horrify all kinds of people, and someone out on the “here be dragons” fringe of the right did indeed retaliate with the Oklahoma City bombing. Which is a desperate embarrassment to the third or so of the country that is in the mainstream right and has been used as a stick to beat us for twenty years. It is not a day for celebration in any way, shape or form.

But…wait…dear lord, Hitler’s birthday?!? If you turned America upside down and shook her hard, I bet fewer than a hundred genuine neo-Nazis would fall out. A kind of right wing, I guess, because they always say so. But just…really, NPR?

Whoa, hang on, the Columbine anniversary? The hell? Two punk kids shoot up their high school? That’s not even…there’s nothing…that’s not right, left or anything. That’s just. No.

This all happened last week, obviously, when nobody knew nothing. Which is why I didn’t post about it then. I was in no mood.

Is it too much to ask our publicly-funded media not to accuse me of Hitler worship? And they wonder why we talk about defunding them every time we get a majority.
"The hell" is right.

Temple-Raston was shamelessly smearing conservatives ---- all while refusing to consider the possible legitimacy that an Islamic terrorist from Saudi Arabia might have been the perpetrator. Nope. It had to be a bunch of fanatical right wingers celebrating Hitler's birthday.

Whoopi. Let's sing the Horst Wessel song and blow the legs off beautiful 8-year-old American boys --- because that's right in the f-king wheelhouse of conservative right wing individuals!

My god. We've reached a milestone in Repsac III's troll rights harassment blogging: Walter James Casper III = Certified NPR Tinfoil Conspiracy Crackpot.

Get some help motherf-ker.
