Holiday Snow, Southern California
We'll likely see a "White Christmas" in Southern California this year.
I often go down to the beach on Christmas, so this is a beautiful change. Here's wishing readers a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

That's not far from my home, Philippe. It's very beautiful in Southern California, but we don't often get this white weather.
That is an amazing photo! Living in Pasadena, that is right up close, but Bolsa Chica is over 30 miles away from the mountains. See, America, we DO have seasons in So. Cal! Merry Christmas, Happy Hanakah, Happy New Year to you and yours!

We just got about 4 inches of snow here in the NYC area and my shovel is waiting for me. For many years our Christmas morning tradition was to be
among the first skaters at the Rockefeller Center ice rink. Beautiful, but rather it was the beach !

Hi Norm: I love the snow, and we do get it down here, but one has to go up in elevation, to the local mountains, to see it first hand. My mom lives in the high desert, and she was snowed in, so that's unusual.

I used to love going to the Laguna Mountains for the snow, which was always fun.

Thank you, Jan. I cleaned house today to get ready. I have to finish shopping, and we'll buy food for our holiday meal. We'll be staying home, and then traveling to see family in January.

This evening at the San Diego Pops concert (an annual Christmas tradition in my household) they created the most amazing snowfall in Symphony Hall. It fell for several minutes, filling the air and settling on everyone there. It was amazing how realistic it was; it was a big hit with everyone.
Sometimes you have to create your own white Christmas!

DD, Well, we have enough snow for everyone here and its still snowing. Last week it was an ice storm, Now snow and Sunday another one.....We will never shovel out......stay well....
