Amanda Colmenero

No doubt she started smokin' pot. That's how people get introduced to hard drugs, like cocaine, and crystal meth for Amanda Colmenero.

See, "
Amanda Colmenero Discovers the Downside of Using Her Vagina as Meth Storage Facility":

Amanda

Leave it to those wacky meth heads to provide zaniness and hijinks where ever they go. 22-year-old Amanda Colmenero was busted in Coos Bay, Oregon this week on drug charges. When she entered the jail, she was given the standard strip and cavity searches...

But being a forgetful meth head, Amanda decided to store her chemical intoxicants deep in her vagina, lest she get too high and lose them. And because she stored them so deep, deputies missed them during her cavity search ...

Our hero was placed in a holding cell. But when jailers checked on her the next morning, they found her unconscious and nearly dead. While Amanda had taken special care to not misplace her meth, that same care hadn't been given to the bags she used to hold her dope. One of them broke, which caused the meth to seep into her vaginal apparatus, which in turn caused her to be in deep shit.

She was rushed to a hospital where doctors discovered her secret storage compartment and removed the offending items. She's now in critical condition. Detectives believe this will teach her to use name-brand bags from Hefty in the future, instead of relying on discount products not recommended for vaginal drug storage.
Another poster girl for drug decriminalization. Just JBW's kind of woman.

When you seek to deceive the only person you deceive is yourself comes to mind.

Interestingly enough is that no one is as smart as they think or as dumb as you think they are. One should always avoid making snap judgments about others. Unfortunately when you start allowing drugs to have a place at the table NOTHING good comes out of it.
Here is a young lady who may have a talent that would add greatly to life, but she will never, unless......., reach her full potential.

Thank Jeebus there are people like you around to advocate for enough government control of it's citizens that they be forbidden from doing anything stupid or harmful to themselves, Don. I don't advocate using meth myself although I am more of an advocate for personal responsibility but I know how you loves you some Nanny State.

Oh by the way, Michelle Obama and I were just discussing your weight the other day. Rest assured, an elite cadre of health/fitness shock troops has been deployed to your casa post haste. Can't let you go and do something stupid like giving yourself heart disease or high blood pressure now that you're living under Obamacare, can we?

Well aren't you just fucking rude as shit? That's my cousin, Amanda. I don't think you'd be posting this story like this if this was your loved one. Why don't you consider how this story could affect the family? What if this was your daughter, would you be saying this? I don't think so. People make mistakes, and we learn from them. No one is perfect. She made a mistake, and hopefully she will get out of the coma she's in, and learn from this. If she dies, I hope you feel like shit. This young woman has a baby girl at home, that loves her mom. So, I think you need to rethink how you write your stories, asshole.

Chelsea: Put the blame where it belongs: On Amanda and her poor choices. And "True Crime Report" published the story. This is news, and hopefully folks can learn from Amanda's case. I pray she's okay and that, yes, she learns from this.

Chelsea, my heart goes out to you and your family. I'm not familiar with your sister previous to this post but I hate to see bad things like this happen to people. Yes, she made some bad choices but I assume that she's done nothing to deserve the pain she now finds herself in. And as all thinking adults know: some drugs are worse than others.

To address your own rebuttal though, Don: yes, this is about Amanda and her poor choices. Now my question to you: how and where do you draw the line between government protecting people from their own poor choices and allowing them to weather the storm and take responsibility for them?

Your rubric up to this point seems to be: people who use drugs are scumbags, people who need health care are leeches, yet people who pay taxes are patriots and people who hate immigrants and liberals are heroes. I'm just detecting a wee bit of hypocrisy there, imbued with a hint of hate, is all I'm saying. Perhaps I'm wrong...

JBW: Is that all you've got? I've posted three entries on decriminalation and all you've done is call me a fat man who hates. What's up with that?

It does seem that no one wants to help this young woman. She needs "tough love," not validation. It makes one wonder who is actually thinking about her instead of how this might affect the others involved or want to be involved for what ever reason.
If she has friends, family and associates like some of the posters then it is of little wonder she has problems.
LIFE IS NOT FAIR and this challenge and its aftermath may be the best thing for her especially if it opens her eyes to the important things in life such as her child and the responsibilities she has to that child.
STOP handing her a crutch! In the long run she will be much more appreciative of those who cared enough to be tough than those who made it possible for things to get worse.
She deserve better.

Well, you are a fat man who hates Don but of course that's not all I've got. I've challenged you to a debate about the merits and drawbacks of cannabis use many times in the past and you've always refused. When you yourself have more to offer up than cutting and pasting others' words and making the grand pronouncement that "drugs are for losers" let me know and we'll have a serious conversation on the subject. Until then, I'm not going to waste my time responding to your same tired tropes.

It's sad that your praising the fact that you have really hurt the colmenero family. However, it didn't just hurt the colmeneros, you have hurt the ENTIRE family. I do apologize for how I reacted earlier though. Your story was just really offensive and I let my anger get the best of me. And yes, you are right, Amanda is to blame for this, her actions were very poor in this situation. But even so, calling her a meth head and other very rude names was really unnecessary. Like I said earlier, everyone makes mistakes. It's also a learning experience & a wake up call for her. I'm not saying that what happened to her was good, but maybe. This is what she needed to get off the drugs. I would appreciate that the next time you write a story, you think about how it affects the person and the family. You seem like a really cold hearted and unhappy person, and for that, I'm sorry for you. You get joy out of ridiculing others, and that really isn't healthy. Despite the rudeness and offensiveness you displayed in this article, me and my family pray for you to find happiness and joy, because clearly, you do not have it.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Again.

You know I understand that everyone does not make the same choices in life some of us make negative choices and some of us make positive choices. We are all human beings and I think that is is a disgrace how anyone can find humor in this unfortunate situation. We are all brought into this world with the purpose of living life. Some believe we should follow the lords path and some believe in living for the moment. Reguardless we should all take unfortunate situations, such as this young girl who made choices based upon the life style she has chose to live, as a blessing in disguise. She has been given a second chance at life and instead of putting this girl down we should all be giving some type of positive feedback in an attempt to steer her and others in the right direction. This young woman almost lost her life and is now having to live with the damage that has been done to her body and brain forever. She was found unconsious in her cell and put on life support for God's sake. All you people who are making fun of the situation think about the fact that her beautiful baby girl almost lost her mother or her mother who almost had to burry her child or her siblings who almost lost a sister.
