Campaign Memo Reveals Steve Poizner as Far-Left Candidate in 2004
He's a nice guy, but GOP gubernatorial candidate Steve Poizner advocated far left-wing positions on a range of issues in his 2004 campaign for California Assembly. The document is here: "2004 Poizner for Assembly Policy Positions." The Los Angeles Times obtained the report. See, "Document shows Poizner reversed course on public services for illegal immigrants," and "Poizner's positions have shifted more than was widely known."
The guy's pure RINO.
The guy's pure RINO.

I hope you get Meg Whitman. She makes Bloomberg look like Calvin Coolidge.
They're both RINO, Richard. Why would conservatives support either of them? I'm not
Donald, if Whitman EVEN HAD a voting record it would look as bad, if not worse than Poizner's as well. Pathetic.
I sniffed this guy out immediately at the Oceanside Tea Party.
I have had strong doubts about Poizner, due to the points about him that Meg Whitman makes in her attack ads.
Whitman is an unknown quantity, probably a RINO as well, but I will probably grudgingly vote for her as the best of a bad lot. Your post finalized my decision. I was previously planning to vote for Poizner based on the recommendations of Tom McClintock, a real conservative who has endorsed him.
