Who Knows Obama's Religion?
That's the major finding at Pew's recent survey, "Growing Number of Americans Say Obama is a Muslim." Forty-three percent have no clue. Understandable too, since the guy hasn't really settled on one yet. He is leaning toward Islam, though. And more and more folks are starting to think so, and that's before he came out for the Ground Zero Mosque before he was against it. No wonder folks are in the dark. Obama's the Commander-in-Chief of Indecisiveness. Oh wait! Here's some decisiveness, or, well, maybe not. Shoot, I just don't know!

Ahh, ignorance... It can be like a warm blanket sometimes, huh Don? And religion only reinforces such feelings. "Just tell me who's a Muslim so I know who to hate."

It is not a little entertaining to me that you on the left have so embraced these brainwashed, ass-backward primitives without realizing that your heads would be among the first on the chopping block under Sharia law.
Perhaps you should consider that before throwing the "ignorance" accusation around so carelessly.

Dave, you yourself never cease to entertain. Yes, I'm just so scared of a bunch of backward religious barbarians, that's why I don't just lump people of the same religion into one big group and label them "evil Muslims" like some ignorant right-wingers (psst, I'm talking about you).
Bin Laden and al Qaeda want a war, they want Christians and Muslims (especially moderate yet ignorant Christians and Muslims) to be at each others throats and close-minded bigots on both sides are enabling this (I'm talking about you here again).
Yes, of course Islamists and terrorists would kill me first under Sharia law. I eat bacon, drink alcohol, have sex outside of marriage, advocate the use of mind-altering drugs, support equal rights for women and homosexuals and I constantly make fun of religion. What I find interesting is that rightists like yourself have more than a few things in common with these guys when you lament the "moral degradation" of society as it pertains to sexual behaviour and drug use or want to deny gays civil rights or get pissed off about my Jesus jokes.
The difference between us is that I realize that the primitives who chop people's heads off do not represent every brown person from that part of the world. So keep being scared, kitten. Keep hunkering down in your bunker and crying about Sharia law infiltrating our society like so much Red Scare. The United States is too strong and too free to succumb to such nonsense and this simple fact won't change no matter how many times you piss yourself in fear that it will.
