Chicago Rejected in First Round of Olympic Voting

What a waste of time and effort (not to mention taxpayers' money): "Chicago Ousted in First Round of Olympic Voting":

Chicago is out. The Windy City has been removed from consideration after just one round of voting. Tokyo went out in the second round, leaving Rio de Janeiro and Madrid.
Also, from Michelle Malkin, "The noble “Sacrifice” of Michelle Obama; Update: Chicago & Tokyo Eliminated."

Why would any governing body select a place for the Olympics where the President spends all his time putting down and apologizing for the country he is supposed to be leading. It must be a terrible place if the leader of a country cannot find positive aspects of his country and its people to tout as a reason for its selection.
Does anyone really believe that others outside the USA have any real respect for Obama? When France is chiding you as an appeaser then something is seriously wrong.
Well at least the dictators, et al like him because his arrogance is so pronounced as to make him a useful idiot. The easiest people to manipulate are those who think they are smarter and better than others. Just the mere mention of his name makes people swoon, NOT!

Even better that it is Rio what with all their big bad oil companies.

Nothing left to say now but Brazilian hotties. :-)

I think there is more that happened here that we don't yet know about.

Deep down, I think the Chi-thugs over-played things and seriously pissed off the IOC members to the point they blew Chicago out of the running on the very first vote, and seemed to relish every moment of it.
