Bush v. Gore

Ten years ago today.

Not too many legal bloggers back then, which is good with respect to
Scotty Lame-ieux.

George Will conveniently overlooks the fraud and voter intimidation that took place in Florida.

More importantly, if Gore had been the President, odds are we would not have gotten into the ill considered and unjustified Iraq war, and would not currently be in a recession.

Living in Florida the fraud was on the Democrat side and I was still a Democrat at that time. In fact Palm Beach has always had a propensity towards fraud. Trying only to count votes in just select counties that just happen to keep finding votes that were non existent after the election. Removing military absentee ballots from the count. One of my friends who lived in Palm Beach told me he saw the votes being created illegally. You don't get hanging chads with just one ballot in the voting machine! And there was NO voter intimidation by people on the Republican side. There was plenty on the Democrat side. One of the 100 plus reason I am no longer a Democrat.
We were in a recession before that election. The only difference is that it would have been a Democrat war.
Typical Leftist drivel. Beside it is history and all the what ifs are MEANINGLESS. Though the Left is quite welcome to stay in the past especially since that is where most of their ideology resides.
