In a mocking faux-Valley Girl voice, Ingraham made fun of McCain’s body, joking that she didn’t get a “role in the Real World” because “they don’t like plus-sized models” ...I saw Ms. McCain this morning on Fox & Friends and she looked great, so perhaps Ingraham's smackdown is a little (well-deserved) snarky-payback for the "progressive Republican's" slam on Ann Coulter. It's not that big of a deal to me, in any case, although I thought I'd highlight the very first commenter at Think Progress, who hopes Ingraham gets a recurrence of cancer:

What a ugly disgusting excuse for a “human”.You know, I hammer leftists as hard as anyone out there, but I treat people with respect nevertheless, and I certianly don't wish death and destruction upon them. Conservatives are better people than leftists, as I've pointed out many times. This comment here is a dime a dozen, and folks who want to claim equivalence are just as bad.

The comment by McCain on Coulter was uncalled-for. Likewise, the comment by Ingraham was unwarranted. Personally, I prefer a bit more to hang onto, in uncertain times.

Once again the class just oozes forth from some of these people. I have a strong disagreement with alot of blogs I read. But I have never even entertained wishing any of them physical harm. You're right. Conservatives on the whole are much more humane.
BTW, I posted a video on the "assault weapon" hearings in congress recently. Talk about a smackdown. The real meaning of the Second Amendment is explained to his highness "Porky" Schumer.

Conservatives are better people than leftists is the greatest understatement possible, as most of my lib friends are simply messes as humans and hateful towards those they disagree with.
Laura is generally a classy lady, and it is beneath her to belittle a sophomoric silly little girl like McCain. Her father has done enough to hurt the Republican brand, so why doesn't she just do a Ron Reagan, don a tutu, and dance over to the Demo-bot side of the aisle. Then she can snark and snarl obscenities with the rest of her skanky new pals.

I love Laura, but she is not above making fun of a person's appearance. She recently told Chuck Todd he needed to get to the gym more, and mercilessly makes fun of Geithner and Orzsag.
