Levi Johnston on Tyra Banks Show

Last night, at People Magazine, I saw Governor Sarah Palin's response to Levi Johnston's interview with Tyra Banks. Now Allahpundit picks up the story, and he links to the video:

Here's this from the Palin family's statement, with no added comment necessary:

"Bristol did not even know Levi was going on the show. We're disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention, and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship," says the statement from the Palin family rep, Meghan Stapleton.

"Bristol's focus will remain on raising Tripp, completing her education, and advocating abstinence," the statement continues. "It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well being of the child."

The statement ends, saying, "Bristol realizes now that she made a mistake in her relationship and is the one taking responsibility for their actions."

Bristol realizes now that she made a mistake in her relationship and is the one taking responsibility for their actions.

I sincerely hope she learns from this experience and chooses better next time around.

As for Levi Johnston, even the thought that this worthless waste of oxygen is going to financially benefit from this in any way makes me want to hurl.

Giving a talk show host a microphone does not mean that she (Trya) has any great degree of intelligence and her interview with Levi Johnston and his stupid mother and sister proved it.
As the father, grandmother and aunt of the child I would have thought that some one in the group would have had some level of decency and respect. Trya, really what did you think you were proving other than your stupidity!

Well, in all fairness the Johnstons did note get paid to be on the show. And of you wanted to see youtr grandson, nephew, or son aren't you going to do it by any means? Bristol can allow Levi and his family to spend time with their son and grandson. All of this is really petty and unfortunate. People need to grow up and do what is in the best interest of this child.
