The video of a 17-year-old girl being publicly flogged by the Pakistani Taliban in the Swat Valley has galvanized the nation, drawing protests from human rights groups, denunciations from the central government and expressions of revulsion from many Pakistanis.
The video, shot with a cellphone, initially shows the girl, clad in an all-enveloping black burka, being held by men while another begins striking her. She can be heard shouting for help in the Pashto language, spoken by most people in Swat. She is then dragged to another location, held down and flogged. Several dozen people can be seen watching.
"For God's sake, please stop, stop it," the girl pleads as the whip falls. "I am dying."
Off-camera, another militant gives orders: "Hold her feet tightly. Lift her burka a bit."

Speaking of "inhumane idealogy", you know whats even worse?
State sponsored terror against civilians using laser guided missiles, launched from Kfir jets, and the use of internationally band white phosphorous weaponry.
Some would argue that, in relative terms, that is inhumane to the 10th degree, but it seems to be justified if perpetrated by select groups of people.

Since this video came to light, there has been no shortage of Islamist apologists popping up all over the internet telling us that "this isn't Islam," or that Islam respects women, or whatever other BS they can spew.
There is no such thing as moderate Islam. If there was, they would be taking to the streets to condemn what was shown on that video.
All I hear is crickets chirping, which is the same thing I here from the members of the so-called peaceful "religion" of Islam every time there is another atrocity committed by some of its followers.
The fact that these so-called "moderates" refuse to speak out tells me that they condone the actions of their more "radical" fellow Muslims.
These people are nothing more than barely-literate (if that) barbarians who are stuck squarely in the 7th Century.
