Those guys at the People's Cube are simply the best. One of those sharp cookies over there bought the domain name .com for the most-likely alternate version of Cindy Sheehan's new organizing website, "Peace of the Action," which is found only at the .org domain. As noted at the People's Cube:
A People's Cube member who discovered their omission immediately bought peaceoftheaction.com for us to play with. Why is it important? He who never automatically typed ".com" while looking for a ".org" site, hasn't really experienced all the wonders of the Internet. Typing ".com" is a shared human trait and it has been taken advantage of by many before us.I've made compare-and-contrast screencaps for the full riot-effect:
Long story short, our new peaceoftheaction.com looks much like peaceoftheaction.org, only it calls things by their real names. That includes describing the fist-shaking organizers as "fisters" - which, according to our recent discovery, is what they really are. That, of course, involved some recycling of our old material.

It's easy just to react against Cindy Sheehan. However, have you ever really taken the time to LISTEN to her facts and point of view?? Or, does the battle cry go up and you just "fight"??
I don't agree with Cindy Sheehan on all points. However, I will listen to FACTS that are presented from an alternate view. Anything else is emotionalism and lack of calm deliberation.
I see so much emotionalism from Christians that is not the command of scripture. All around me I see people just getting "whipped up" emotionally. To me, that's the depravity of the sinful nature in human passion. God wants us calm, clear-minded, knowing facts.
Cindy Sheehan has VALID FACTS as do many others who TRULY HAVE FACTS to support their position that we are NOT in Iraq for the reasons presented to the American people. RATHER, there is REAL $$$$ motive on the parts of fascist big businesses who stand to profit from control of those oil fields. Our government is NOT being run "of the people, by the people, or for the people". Rather, fascist big businesses are controlling our military. We're fighting money wars for a select few oligarcs - and we're being sold the wars for reasons that stir patriotic "passion". That's why passion is DANGEROUS!! All of this emotionalism on the parts of Christians relative patriotism is extremely unbiblical and unwise.
Christians must awaken to the fact that we are not "Americans" FIRST - because we are not of this world. As soon as our emotions are disentangled - we can think soberly and evaluate facts.
The war in Iraq is NOTHING like the Christians in America have been sold. I don't agree with Cindy Sheehan on numerous matters. However, I listened to her critique as well as the critique of others - because I am not an "American first". My home is in Heaven. I'm not blindly patriotic nor can I be as easily deceived as neocons are.
Word to the wise. Pray more. Stop being caught up in emotionalism, human passion, and flag-waving patriotism. Be a citizen of Heaven and calmly evaluate facts - knowing that evil men and seducers are waxing worse and worse at this hour.
If you do not seriously analyze the factual basis of the arguments that fascist big business is conrolling the US military and selling naive, foolish, and "whipped up" Christians on the war in Iraq, etc. - you're not behaving as the Word of God would instruct. Calm down. Rule #1: CALM DOWN!!! Think soberly.
