Phocion said...: When one tries to define the rich that is only good for a moment in time. These categories are just that categories that do not contain the same people over time.
There is a lot of movement between these categories in both direct. It makes a lot of sense if one considers that when we start to work we are low on the income scale. As we grow in skill and ability we move through various income brackets until we we reach our peak earning years.
After that we retire and our earnings go down to the point that some may arrive back close to their starting point.
There is as much as a 92 percent turnover of those who populate the upper brackets and those who populate the lower brackets. Few stay in any of those brackets over time.
This is nothing more than class warfare for the terminally stupid.
One could take all of the so called rich people's money and that would not operate the government for a month and then where do we go then?; April 11, 2011 at 12:35 PM
