Lady Gaga 'Judas' No Shows in Easter Debut

I've been keeping my eyes open for this, given the major press for the video, with claims about an Easter release. At NME, "Lady Gaga to release 'Judas' video over Easter?" And Gigwise, "Lady Gaga 'Judas' Video to Debut Over Easter." Perhaps not, since no sign yet, and no clue at Gaga's Twitter feed.

Anyway, there's an interesting background report from Steve Pond, "Lady Gaga's Easter Marketing Plan for 'Judas': Tweets, Leaks, Sacrilege." Also, at In This Week, "Lady Gaga is In Love with 'Judas' and the Catholic Church is Pissed: What Would Madonna Do?"

I tend to agree with the Catholic position of "if more talent" but would remind them, and all, that Judas is much maligned in historic an Biblical texts as he was only doing what God Himself proclaimed.

As to this gaggag harlot, why give her more audience?

Christopher: I thinks she's fascinating, regardless of her pathetic politics ...

Donald, "fascinating"?

Please expound as in what way.

I find her vulgar in all respects and undeserving of any attention.

I think she's attractive, for one thing. But I thought that before she starting freaking me out politically. And it's fascinating that someone like this is so totally huge in American pop music.

It is that she is vulgar that makes her fascinating to those who have not gotten past being fascinated with their bodily excretions. I agree with Christopher and think she is a no talent Madonna wannabe sans originality.

Hey, Dennis, where you been?!!

I was looking over some older comments and I noticed you haven't been around. Welcome back.

Just keeping busy trying to improve myself. I always stop by to read and think about your commentary. Keep up the good work.

Speaking of real talent, I just watched a movie, "Burlesque," with Christina Aguilera and Cher. Aguilera did a decent job of acting and singing, but the movie was worth it for Cher's two solo performances.
In the past I have not been a fan of Cher's singing, but thought her acting very good. Here she seems to have come into her own, especially on the last solo, with real emotional impact that was more that just singing at the top of her lungs. Very nice use of dynamics, flow and vocal quality.
How could anyone think "Lady Gaga has anything approaching talent. Maybe Gaga ought to change her name to "I Am Anything But A Lady GAG GAG.

I'll check that one out, Dennis. It looks like a good flick, and I like Cher.
