Today's Michele Bachmann Feeding Frenzy

The secular collectivists are piling on Representative Michelle Bachmann once again. It turns out that Ms. Bachmann appeared on Minnesota's KTLK-AM radio over the weekend, and she went off on the Obama administration for a number of its extreme left wing policies.

The Minnesota Independent is hammering Ms. Bachmann's attack on the administration's AmeriCorps program in its essay, "
Bachmann fears ‘politically correct re-education camps for young people’." Read the post for the context, but Ms. Bachmann's comments make perfect sense to me, considering the mindless left-wing indoctrination currently the rage in schools and colleges today. And for some reason, the "Dump Bachmann" blog thinks the following comments are controversial:

I feel like I have a front row seat on history right now. I cannot believe what I'm seeing. This is our country. We love our country and I'm watching our freedoms slip out the door every day. Just this week with the G-20 and what President Obama is wanting to do to cede American sovereignty to transnational global authorities makes your head spin and we as members of congress have to bind him down with that authority, we cannot agree to these things that he is wanting to do, because it will continue to take away freedom from individuals in the United States.

*****

It is a dream come true for people who want to transform our country from a free-market economy to a centralized government planned economy. It is completely different and antithetical to what our founders gave us and I think people should be shocked, they should be stunned with what is happening and the speed at which it's happening and in particular, what is happening with the G-20 and the transnational aspects of what our President is committing our nation to.
There's absolutely nothing in these comments out of the ordinary for conservative political discourse. Indeed, we need more folks like Michele Bachamann standing up for what's right, and telling it like it is for this president, who is now travelling the world over putting other nations' interests ahead of our own.

There really is a social shift taking place. Obama and his minions believe they can shape opinion and create an activist following that will drive others to comply.

ACORN and union thugs will be the primary members of these activist groups and will be paid for by the government.

However, when thrown up against Bachmann, the activists are confounded by someone objecting. The more Bachmann speaks, she rallies additional individuals and inspires courage to stand up for American values.

Those who do evil hate the light and this person is shining the light on a very evil man.

The zampolit cadres headed by the JournoList Citizen People's Commissars Klein, Yglesias, Alterman and other throwbacks are in full hue and cry against Bachmann, who notes that the cafe au lait Emperor is buck naked and in full travel mode to avoid accountability.

Meanwhile the thuggish MSM and zampolit run amok almost unchecked in their hysteric fury at Michele's open candor.

MN is a state where I lived for four years and grew to detest. I still do. Except for Ms. Bachmann and a few other people with notochords.

One thing I have noticed about the left, the closer you get to the center of the target with your criticisms, the louder they squeal.

Michelle Bachmann must be placing her shots dead center of the 10 ring.

There's absolutely nothing in these comments out of the ordinary for conservative political discourse.

There's the explanation for the marginalization of your party & conservatism in general.

Do you really think unreasoned paranoia is "ordinary political discourse?"

Does your ordinary discourse include Bachmann's fear that the one-worlders are going to somehow replace our currency w/ Euros?

Do keep up your "ordinary discourse " though. It's hilarious.

Bouffant, I wouldn't say Bachmann's concerns are paranoia by any means, since we have the most far-left president in American history. Ths president is truly bad news and is doing very damaging things to our defense posture, our economy and our freedoms.

Oh come now. Which is sillier, that B. O.'s admin. would try to put young people in "re-education camps," or that somehow the American people would go along w/ this?

Most far-left president in history? That's how you see a centrist, corporatist friend of Wall Street?
