Whilst driving our younger daughter and "spare" daughter home from the bookstore yesterday, they were texting each other, front seat to back seat. I've seen them sitting on the same couch, texting each other. It's insane!
It is a way to carry on a conversation without others, in the immediate vicinity, knowing what is being said. I find it a corruption of language and had it turned off on my cell. If I cannot say it out loud or write it in clear text then it is a waste of my time.
Another example of not making those who do damage to themselves through their own auspices responsible. Is it any wonder that we have a society that thinks it is always someone else's responsibility to take care of them.
