Good stuff - thanked the troops, spoke about military spending and issues that concern people in uniform, mentioned that she will head to Germany to visit wounded troops...and stick through all the way to the end for a response to John Kerry's "joke":Governor Palin's on Twitter, and she is hot for freedom!Senator John Kerry makes this joke..I don't know if you saw this...but he makes this joke saying "Well, shoot, of all the governors in the nation to disappear, too bad it couldn't have been that Governor from Alaska."
Well, when he said it he looked quite frustrated, and he looked so sad, and I just wanted to reach out to the TV and say "John Kerry, why the long face?"
(laughter)
Love it to death!

Its ironic because Sen Kerry HAS already disappeared form the Democratic party 'in" crowd
She was funny...
I'll give her that...
That's pretty funny.
In fact, it raises the question of why don't aspiring politicians engage the services of proper jokewriters.
I think it would be hard to argue that any campaigning politician has received a larger benefit from paying to hire a blogger to repeat info anyone can read elsewhere. Meanwhile, they're left to come up with their own jokes.
Nothing blogged has ever made news to a degree that any and all jokes dropped by a campaigning politician will. Nor will they engage with the general population in the same way.
Quite the return on investment case to be made for engaging official campaign jokewriters I think.
She's there because she loves the troops soooo much!
Not a political move at all. Nope.
