My point was about not recognizing now. As to the future, we have to see what it brings. A day is a long time right now in Iranian politics. So let's take this one day at a time for now.Now doesn't that just prove my point from this morning! "Sullivan's all messed up! Who knows what position he's advocating from moment to moment?"

Just like a libtard to not let a good waffle go to waste, eh?
"Now doesn't that just prove my point from this morning!"
It does not, as my response to that earlier post points out.
Why should any American, from Obama on down, offer Ahmadinejad any legitimacy by recognizing his right to be there--let alone meeting with him--until Iran (both its leaders, and its people) recognize him as the legitimate, elected leader?
Sullivan's position pretty obviouly always was (and remains) "just for today," or--until this thing is settled over there. Not recognizing Ahmadinejad (or Moussavi) until Iran recognizes one of them, has nothing whatsoever to do with potentially meeting with the leaders of certain countries, with or without preconditions.
