Saturday, the rumor that Todd and Sarah Palin were divorcing created an online uproar. CNN stringer/anti-Palin blogger Dennis Zaki published a thinly-sourced "news" item asserting that "multiple sources" had confirmed the rumor first published by "Gryphen" at his Immoral Majority blog.
Zaki obtained a copy of a letter from Palin attorney Thomas Van Flein, ordering "Gryphen" to retract the allegations -- calling them "complete fabrications, false and defamatory" -- or face legal action. The Van Flein letter, published by Zaki with the name of the recipient blacked out, ended with this sentence ...

Anybody who had a hand in spreading this divorce rumor is a tool- and should be ashamed of themselves. Talk about desperate- hard watching the Dear Leader crash-n-burn, I guess.
Palin’s resignation obviously puts yet more pressure on Obama to finally get some results, as the soaring rhetoric isn’t hypnotizing the plebes like it used to. There’s another viable alternative waiting in the wings now… just as we hear the first stirrings of Obamania’s death-rattle.
Alaska was a pretty corrupt system until she stepped in. Her reforms took on entrenched politicians (inc. Republicans), a mafioso-style union boss, and Big Oil.
Wouldn’t it have been nice if Obama had been principled and brave enough to confront the corrupt Chicago Democratic Machine? Or shady political operators like Tony Rezko? Racist preachers? Instead of doing business with every last one of them?
IMO Palin could trounce him in 2012, when Americans would vote for the Gipper-in-Heels in droves- they’ll surely being looking for such an antidote to the Bolshevik con-artist who’s taken a wrecking-ball to this society.
Small wonder then that the far-left moonbats -along with Team Obama’s David Plouffe’s internet squad- are out to destroy her.

It's about time that these radical pseudo-political-intellectual purveyors of propaganda were sued out of existence.
The despicable attacks illuminate the fear they have of Sarah Palin and the ideals she espouses.
It was obvious during the debate she had with the intellectually challenged Joe Biden that Palin is a principle based politico who works for what's right, rather than what will get her reelected.
Can anyone imagine the outrage if the media attacked Michelle in similar fashion? There would be an uproar on monumental proportions. The writers would be excoriated and sued out of existence.
One standard exists for the left, and another for everyone else.
